Huawei’s HUAWEI SuperPower Power Bank (100 W 12000) combines a 12,000mAh typical lithium-ion battery, a built-in USB-C cable and a second USB-C port. It can deliver up to 100W from one port, accept up to 66W when recharging, and split power between two connected devices.
The headline speed is conditional: Huawei’s claim of 42% battery in 10 minutes comes from a laboratory test using a HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro at 25°C, starting at 2% with the screen off in standby. Results will differ with the device, cable, workload and temperature.

What the Huawei 100W 12000 power bank is
The model is a high-output portable battery rated at 12,000mAh typical capacity and 44.93Wh of energy. Its body measures 130.62 × 68.38 × 15.7mm and weighs about 237g. The integrated USB-C cable is stored with the unit, while a separate USB-C port provides another connection option.

Capacity in milliamp-hours is measured against the battery’s cell voltage; the 44.93Wh rating is the more useful figure when estimating airline limits or comparing energy between power banks. Neither figure means every watt-hour will reach a phone: conversion losses, cable losses and the device’s charging behavior reduce usable output.

How fast can it charge?
Up to 100W from one port
Huawei specifies up to 100W from a single output when the connected device supports 100W SCP or USB Power Delivery charging. For that maximum, Huawei says to use the integrated cable or a Huawei cable rated at 6A or higher. A phone or computer that accepts less power will draw only what its charging system allows.
Huawei’s “42% in just 10 minutes” statement is a manufacturer laboratory result, not a universal charge time. The test used a HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro at 25°C, beginning at 2% battery with the screen off and the phone in standby. Active use, a different model, heat and a higher starting percentage can all produce a slower result.
Supported charging standards
The power bank supports SCP V2.0, USB PD 3.0 with PPS and QC 2.0. Huawei describes compatibility with phones, tablets, PCs, watches and earbuds using those standards. iPhones and other iOS devices are covered through USB Power Delivery, provided the device and cable negotiate a supported profile.

Input charging, pass-through and two-device operation
Recharging the power bank
Maximum input is 66W. The actual recharge rate depends on the charger, cable and the power bank’s thermal and battery-management limits. A charger capable of 66W or more does not force that rate if the negotiated protocol or cable cannot provide it.
Charging while the bank is plugged in
Pass-through charging lets the power bank recharge while it supplies power to a phone or another device. This is useful at a desk or bedside, but the available output still depends on the incoming charger and the bank’s dynamic power management.

These are dynamic allocations rather than a promise that every pair of devices will receive those exact numbers. The bank negotiates each device’s supported protocol and adjusts power accordingly.
Can it charge a laptop?
Yes, if the laptop accepts USB-C Power Delivery at a compatible power level and the cable and charger negotiation support the required profile. The 100W figure is a ceiling, not a guarantee that every laptop will charge at 100W. Gaming laptops and models that require proprietary adapters may charge slowly, maintain their current battery level or refuse to charge.
For a phone, tablet or ultrabook, check the manufacturer’s USB-C input specification. A device that supports only 45W, for example, cannot draw the bank’s full 100W output.

Can you take the 44.93Wh battery on a plane?
Huawei presents the 44.93Wh rated energy as designed for air travel. Airline and airport rules still apply, and Huawei advises checking with the airline before traveling. Keep the rating visible on the product label or documentation and follow the carrier’s instructions for carrying spare lithium batteries; do not assume that one airline’s policy applies worldwide.

Size, weight and everyday trade-offs
At about 237g, the bank is heavier than many basic phone-only models but remains compact for a 12,000mAh-class unit. The built-in cable means one fewer accessory to pack and avoids the common problem of forgetting a charging lead. It also means the permanently attached cable is a wear point: if it is damaged, the separate USB-C port can still be used, but the integrated-cable convenience is lost.
