Does a 24/7 livestream earn Premium revenue all day?
It can earn YouTube Premium revenue when eligible Premium members watch it, but simply keeping a stream live does not establish that anyone watched. YouTube’s stated allocation principle is member viewing of your content—not the number of hours the broadcast remained online. The guidance does not publish a 24/7-specific formula or guarantee a payment for every broadcast hour.

YouTube Help says that revenue from Premium membership fees is distributed to video creators based on how much members watch their content. It also says the majority of Premium membership revenue goes to YouTube partners. YouTube does not disclose a universal dollar-per-view or dollar-per-hour rate in that guidance. What determines whether a livestream is eligible?
For long-form and livestream videos viewed on the Watch Page, YouTube says creators must accept the Watch Page Monetization Module to earn ad and YouTube Premium revenue. The Premium guidance also says long-form creators accept that module and turn on Watch Page ads. Eligibility and monetization settings matter; an always-on schedule alone does not qualify a stream or determine its revenue.

Premium revenue and livestream ad revenue are different

How much does YouTube Premium pay per watch hour?
YouTube’s public help pages reviewed here do not state a fixed Premium payment per watch hour, per member, or per view, nor do they publish a calculation specifically for 24/7 livestreams. The public rule is that allocation depends on Premium members’ viewing, subject to YouTube’s monetization terms. YouTube directs partners to their agreements in Studio for details of their revenue-share terms.

Even a stream that remains available continuously may have different member viewing from one period to another. Without your channel’s own reports and non-public calculation details, a numerical forecast would be guesswork.

Where to check your channel’s reported revenue
Use YouTube Studio’s current Analytics Revenue tab and the reports available to your account for the relevant date range and area. YouTube describes Watch Page ad revenue in Analytics as an aggregate that includes AdSense for YouTube, DoubleClick ads, and YouTube Premium. Detailed downloadable reports are available to creators who have access to them; report labels and details can change.
Because Watch Page reporting can combine Premium and advertising revenue, do not treat a total Watch Page figure as a Premium-only amount unless the report you can access identifies that component separately.
