On Wendy’s UK Core Menu nutrition table dated in a February 2025 document path, Dave’s Single is the lowest-calorie burger in this comparison at 524 kcal, while Dave’s Triple has both the most protein (77 g) and the most calories (1,195 kcal). The same table lists Dave’s Double at 879 kcal and 54 g protein, and the Baconator at 1,001 kcal and 63 g protein.
These are UK menu figures, not a verified current U.S. comparison. Wendy’s U.S. materials use different published values for at least one item: a 2026 Wendy’s high-protein article lists Dave’s Single at 31 g protein, compared with 28 g in the UK table. Keep the market and source version attached to every number.

Wendy’s burger calories and protein at a glance
The table below uses one internally consistent source: Wendy’s UK, Nutrition Information — Core Menu, in a document URL path dated February 2025. Values are per burger as listed by Wendy’s, not independent laboratory measurements.
| Burger | Named configuration | Calories per burger | Protein per burger | Market and source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dave’s Single | Single | 524 kcal | 28 g | UK Core Menu, 2025 |
| Dave’s Double | Double | 879 kcal | 54 g | UK Core Menu, 2025 |
| Dave’s Triple | Triple | 1,195 kcal | 77 g | UK Core Menu, 2025 |
| Baconator | Two beef patties, six strips of Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise and a potato bun | 1,001 kcal | 63 g | UK Core Menu, 2025 |
Within this four-item UK subset, Dave’s Triple is the highest in both columns. Dave’s Single is the lowest in both. The Baconator sits above Dave’s Double in calories and protein in the same document.

What the calorie numbers mean
Calories are a measure of energy in the complete burger listed in the menu table. They include the bun, sauces, cheese, meat and other listed components that make up that menu item. They do not represent a full meal unless the meal contains only the burger.
Wendy’s U.S. ordering menu says that 2,000 calories per day is used for general nutrition advice, while individual calorie needs vary. That statement is a broad labeling reference, not a personal target and not a calculation of what any particular customer should eat.
Dave’s Single: the lowest-calorie entry in this set
Among the four UK entries, the Single has the smallest energy total and the smallest protein total. It is therefore the straightforward choice if your only comparison rule is minimizing the burger’s listed calories. That conclusion applies only to these named items in the cited UK table; it does not establish that it is the lowest-calorie product across every Wendy’s market, promotion or menu version.
Dave’s Double: a substantial step up from the Single
The Double increases both energy and protein relative to the Single. The increase is not a simple two-times multiplication of the Single’s values, because a menu item includes more than patties: buns, cheese, sauces and the exact recipe all contribute. Treat the published row as its own formulation rather than estimating it by multiplying another row.
Dave’s Triple: the largest totals in the table
The Triple is the top of this four-item ranking for calories and protein. It is the only listed burger to exceed 1,000 kcal in the UK table without being the Baconator, and its protein figure is higher than every other row. “Highest” here means highest among these four UK entries, not highest across all Wendy’s products or countries.
Baconator: a different configuration, not simply a larger Dave’s
Wendy’s describes the Baconator as two square beef patties with six strips of crispy Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise and a potato bun. That ingredient description explains its configuration; it should not be used to recreate the official calorie or protein figures. In the UK table, the Baconator’s totals are higher than Dave’s Double’s but lower than Dave’s Triple’s.

Protein relative to calories
A calorie total alone does not show how much protein a burger provides for its energy. Using only the four UK rows, protein efficiency can be calculated as protein grams divided by calories, then multiplied by 100. The result is a comparison metric, not a clinical quality rating.

|---|---|---|
| Dave’s Single | 5.34 g | 18.71 kcal |
| Dave’s Double | 6.14 g | 16.28 kcal |
| Dave’s Triple | 6.44 g | 15.52 kcal |
| Baconator | 6.29 g | 15.89 kcal |
Calculations are rounded to two decimal places from the Wendy’s UK 2025 figures. By this narrow arithmetic measure, Dave’s Triple has the most protein per 100 calories, followed closely by the Baconator; Dave’s Single has the least. The ranking is different from a simple “fewest calories” ranking, which places the Single first.
How to read the ratio without overinterpreting it
The ratio answers one question: how much listed protein accompanies a fixed amount of listed energy? It does not measure taste, satiety, ingredient quality, sodium, fat, carbohydrate, allergen risk, portion suitability or overall dietary adequacy. Wendy’s UK table contains other nutrient fields, but this article uses only calories and protein because those are the requested comparison axes.
Which Wendy’s burger has the most protein?
In the UK table used here, Dave’s Triple has the most protein at 77 g per burger. The Baconator follows at 63 g, then Dave’s Double at 54 g, with Dave’s Single at 28 g.
That answer must carry its qualification: it is the largest published protein number among the four named UK rows in Wendy’s 2025 Core Menu document. It is not a claim about every Wendy’s burger worldwide, every limited-time item, or the current U.S. menu.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteHow many calories are in a Wendy’s burger?
There is no single calorie number for “a Wendy’s burger.” In the UK comparison, the four examples span from 524 kcal for Dave’s Single to 1,195 kcal for Dave’s Triple. The exact item name matters, as do the market and menu version.

For a customer ordering in the United States, do not copy the UK calorie values into a U.S. food log without checking a current U.S. nutrition listing. Wendy’s U.S. menu says its nutrition information is based on standard formulations and may vary because of suppliers, ingredient substitutions, recipe versions, restaurant assembly and seasonality.
Why UK and U.S. figures should not be mixed
The most complete official table available for this four-burger comparison is the UK Core Menu document. U.S. materials located for the same subject do not provide an equivalent, complete table for all four rows. That means a UK calorie number and a U.S. protein number should not be combined to create a hybrid “U.S.” entry.
The clearest example is Dave’s Single. Wendy’s U.S. high-protein article published in 2026 lists 31 g protein, while the UK 2025 table lists 28 g. The difference could reflect market formulation, serving specification, recipe timing or another version distinction; the available materials do not establish one cause. It does establish that geography and publication version matter.

What to check before recording a U.S. meal
- Open Wendy’s current U.S. ordering or nutrition page for the restaurant and item you intend to buy.
- Confirm that the item name and size match exactly; a single, double and triple are separate formulations.
- Record calories and protein from that same U.S. listing rather than importing one value from the UK table.
- Note any customization, substitution or omission. Wendy’s warns that restaurant assembly and ingredient substitutions can change the nutrition result.
- Use the date or menu version shown by the source, especially when comparing figures over time.
Configuration explains part of the spread
Moving from a Single to a Double or Triple changes the meat quantity, but the total also reflects the rest of the assembled sandwich. The bun, cheese, sauces and preparation specifications remain part of the menu formulation. Consequently, multiplying the Single’s calories or protein by two or three will not reproduce the published Double or Triple row.
The Baconator illustrates why names alone are not enough for a calculation. Its documented build includes two patties and six bacon strips, along with cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise and a potato bun. Those components describe what is in the sandwich; only the official nutrition row supplies the calorie and protein totals used in the comparison.
Choosing by the comparison rule you actually care about
A useful way to use the table is to state your rule before looking at the ranking. Different rules produce different answers.

- Fewest listed calories: Dave’s Single is first among these four UK entries.
- Most listed protein: Dave’s Triple is first.
- Most protein per 100 kcal: Dave’s Triple has the highest calculated ratio in this set.
- Two-patty bacon-and-cheese configuration: The Baconator is the relevant named item; its published totals should be used rather than estimating from ingredients.
- Comparison within one market: Use the UK table as a group, or obtain a complete current U.S. table and use that as a separate group. Do not blend them.
These are menu-comparison outcomes, not individualized nutrition advice. Personal choices can depend on factors this two-column comparison does not cover, including allergies, medical conditions, energy needs, sodium, saturated fat, carbohydrate and what else is ordered.

Per-burger values versus the rest of the order
The figures apply to the burger itself. Adding fries, a drink, a dessert, dipping sauce or another side changes the meal total. If you are tracking a complete order, enter each component separately using the nutrition information for the same market and date.
Customizations require particular care. Removing mayonnaise, changing a bun or adding cheese may alter calories and protein, but the exact effect depends on the restaurant’s current ingredients and portion. Wendy’s warning about suppliers, substitutions, recipe versions, assembly and seasonality is a reason to treat an uncustomized menu row as an estimate for the standard formulation, not a guarantee for every assembled sandwich.

Using a U.S. protein figure with a UK calorie figure
This creates a number that no single published menu supports. Keep every calorie and protein pair from one market and one source version.
Calling Dave’s Triple the highest-protein Wendy’s burger everywhere
The defensible statement is narrower: it has the highest protein among the four UK rows shown in Wendy’s 2025 Core Menu table. Other countries, limited-time products or later menus may produce a different ranking.
Estimating the Baconator from its ingredient list
Ingredients identify the build but do not provide gram weights, recipe details or nutrition calculations. Use the published nutrition row.

Treating 2,000 calories as a personal daily allowance
Wendy’s U.S. menu presents 2,000 calories as general nutrition advice and explicitly says needs vary. It is a labeling reference, not a personalized prescription.
Assuming restaurant preparation is identical every time
Wendy’s says supplier changes, substitutions, recipe versions, assembly and seasonality can affect nutrition information. A posted value is the best standard-formulation reference for that menu version, not an independently measured guarantee for every sandwich.
A practical comparison worksheet
If you are comparing an item before ordering, use this short worksheet:
- Identify the market: UK and U.S. entries are separate datasets.
- Identify the date or version: the UK values here come from a 2025 Core Menu document; a U.S. page may be updated independently.
- Write the exact item: include Single, Double, Triple or Baconator rather than “Wendy’s burger.”
- Capture both columns: calories and protein must come from the same row.
- Mark standard versus customized: note substitutions, removals and additions.
- Decide whether you need a ratio: divide protein grams by calories and multiply by 100, keeping the market consistent.
- Add the rest of the order: record sides and drinks separately if you need a meal total.
What this comparison can—and cannot—tell you
It can show the relative calorie and protein totals Wendy’s publishes for four named UK burgers. It can identify the largest and smallest values within that defined set, and it can show how the ranking changes when protein is normalized by calories.
It cannot establish a current worldwide ranking, supply a complete U.S. comparison, measure actual restaurant portions, or determine what is appropriate for an individual. It also cannot infer missing nutrition values from a promotional description or from the number of patties alone.
Keeping the comparison current
Restaurant menus change. If you revisit these figures, verify that the burger is still listed, that the document or ordering page is current, and that the market is the one you intend to compare. Preserve the source date beside the numbers in any spreadsheet or food log.
For U.S. orders, Wendy’s own qualification is especially important: standard-formulation information may vary with suppliers, substitutions, recipe versions, assembly and seasonality. A later menu revision can therefore make an older comparison unsuitable for a new order even when the product name looks unchanged.

Using Wendy’s UK Core Menu figures in the February 2025 document path, Dave’s Single is the lowest-calorie option among the four named burgers, while Dave’s Triple supplies the most listed protein and also the most calories. The Baconator falls between the Double and Triple on both totals. Use those numbers as a UK, source-dated comparison only; Wendy’s U.S. materials show that at least Dave’s Single has a different published protein value, so a current U.S. table is required for U.S.-specific conclusions.
