In the United States, the clearest way to watch some NFL games without a subscription is with an antenna tuned to a local broadcast station. What you can watch depends on your market and that week’s schedule; no free option listed here guarantees every game. Watch local games with an antenna
An indoor TV antenna may receive local broadcast stations that carry NFL games. You do not need a monthly streaming subscription for this over-the-air route, but an antenna cannot add games that are not broadcast in your market.

The NFL describes NFL Channel as “the NFL’s 24/7 FREE, always on channel offering NFL content.” That means free NFL programming, not a guarantee of live game broadcasts. The NFL’s NFL Channel page points viewers to NFL+ for live-game access.

Why NFL+ is not a free substitute for TV
NFL+ is a paid service. The NFL says its live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games are available on phones and tablets. On connected-TV devices, those live local and primetime games are not available; the service offers replays instead. Check the NFL’s NFL+ information for current plan and device details.
Live access also depends on location and broadcast rights, and blackouts may apply. NFL+ therefore does not make every game free or available on every screen. For current availability, consult the NFL’s viewing guide and the schedule for the game you want.
