AMC+ is therefore the clearest subscription option established for the complete series. You may be able to subscribe directly or through a channel platform, depending on your market. AMC+’s FAQ describes Canadian availability separately, including Apple TV Channels and Amazon Prime Video Channels; those options should not be assumed to apply in other countries.

Prime Video has a dedicated Season 8 listing with 12 episodes and an HD season-purchase option. The listing accessed in 2026 showed a $29.99 purchase price; treat that as a dated listing, not a guaranteed current price. The page also shows an AMC+ trial option, which is separate from buying the season. A Prime membership alone should not be taken to mean Season 8 is included.
#1 Best Overall
Is Season 8 available on Blu-ray or DVD?
The Complete Eighth Season was released on Blu-ray with a digital copy and on DVD on February 27, 2024. Screen-Connections’ release-details report gave launch suggested retail prices of $44.99 for Blu-ray (+ Digital) and $38.98 for DVD. Those are historical suggested prices, not current retailer prices. Check a local seller for present stock, cost, and the contents of the specific edition; an Amazon marketplace format listing has surfaced both formats.
Which option should you choose?
| Option | Access model | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| AMC+ | Subscription streaming; AMC+ lists all eight seasons. | Confirm that the series and Season 8 are in your territory’s catalog, and review local subscription terms. |
| Prime Video | One-time digital purchase of Season 8; the 2026 listing showed HD and 12 episodes. | Verify the current price and that the purchase is available in your country. The displayed AMC+ trial is a separate access option. |
| Blu-ray (+ Digital) or DVD | Physical copies of the complete eighth season; the Blu-ray release includes a digital copy. | Check local availability, current price, and edition details. The reported launch prices are not current quotes. |
A subscription gives access through a service’s catalog while the title remains available there. A digital purchase or disc is a different way to access the season, but do not assume a retailer will provide perpetual access to a digital purchase. The available listings do not establish a same-country, current price comparison, so there is no supported basis here to call one option the cheapest.

Check availability in your country before paying
AMC+ warns that its catalog varies by territory and that not every series always has every season. Open the service or retailer listing from your location and confirm that Season 8 is included or purchasable before you subscribe or buy. The listings cited here establish options, not worldwide availability; streaming catalogs, digital prices, and physical inventory can change.
