BLAST and HLTV are useful for finding events; the organiser’s Twitch or YouTube channel is the authority for the live broadcast. For an alternate viewing interface, FACEIT Watch offers schedule browsing, match switching, highlights and, for logged-in viewers, additional streams and player POVs.
Replay access is less predictable. There is no established universal archive that guarantees every full match, every region or a fixed retention period. After a match, check the organiser’s official video channel and match page, and treat availability as event- and territory-specific.

Start here: a dependable CS2 viewing workflow
- Find the event. Use the BLAST tournament calendar for a broad list of Majors, BLAST, ESL, PGL and other Counter-Strike events, with brackets, results and match listings. HLTV’s event calendar is a second discovery option and includes both online and LAN competitions.
- Confirm the date on the event page. Calendars are live data. Match times, round names and even event status can change, so do not rely on an old social post or a search-result preview.
- Open the organiser’s page. Look for a section labelled Live, Watch, Broadcast or Streams. That page should identify the current Twitch, YouTube or other authorised destination for the event.
- Choose a viewing mode. Use the listed channel for a conventional broadcast. Use FACEIT Watch if you want its schedule, match-switching, highlights or POV features.
- For a finished match, check official video pages. Search the organiser’s channel and the match page first. A full replay may be available, but the available evidence does not establish a universal archive, retention period or worldwide access.
Where to find upcoming CS2 matches
BLAST’s tournament calendar
BLAST describes its calendar as covering “Majors, BLAST, ESL, PGL and many more,” with “brackets, results, matches” in one place. The calendar separates upcoming and finished listings, making it useful both for planning a viewing session and for locating an event that has already ended.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

Once you select an event, follow its event page to identify the current stream links and match times.

HLTV’s event calendar
HLTV provides another way to scan ongoing and upcoming Counter-Strike events. Its listings include online regional competitions as well as LAN events. Dates are live and can change, so open the individual event listing before setting a reminder or sharing a start time.
HLTV is a schedule and results destination; it should not be treated as a single channel carrying every match. The event organiser’s page remains the best place to confirm the authorised broadcast.
Examples from the October 2026 calendar snapshot
The following were listed when the calendars were checked in October 2026. They illustrate the range of events you may see, rather than serving as permanent recommendations.
| Calendar | Event or listing | Date shown | What it demonstrates |
|---|---|---|---|
| BLAST | PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 | October 2026 | A major event listed in the broad tournament calendar. |
| BLAST | IEM Beijing 2026 | November 2026 | The calendar includes events outside the BLAST brand. |
| BLAST | BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong 2026 | November 2026 | An event with a dedicated organiser page. |
| BLAST | PGL Singapore Major 2026 | November 2026 | Another Major-level listing in the same calendar. |
| HLTV | Thunderpick World Championship 2026 | October 14–18, 2026 | An example of a dated event listing. |
| HLTV | PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 | October 24–31, 2026 | The same event can appear across different schedule services. |
BLAST’s official Premier homepage listed BLAST Premier Rivals: Hong Kong for November 11–15, 2026, at AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong. Use that event page for the current venue, match details and broadcast information; dates and links on a live calendar can change.

How to choose the official live stream
Check the event organiser before pressing Play
Open the event page from the calendar and find its broadcast information. A schedule page may show a start time without hosting the video itself. The organiser’s page is where you can verify the channel name, language options and whether a match is currently live.
BLAST broadcast example
The BLAST Bounty S2 2026 event page listed a Twitch broadcast on blastpremier and a YouTube broadcast on BLASTPremier. It also stated that multiple language broadcasts were available for that event. This is an event-specific example, not a guarantee that every BLAST competition will offer the same channels or languages.
ESL’s Twitch and YouTube distribution
An ESL announcement dated January 31, 2023 described distribution across Twitch and YouTube as non-exclusive and included ESL properties such as the ESL Pro Tour for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. That announcement is historical, so use it as evidence that both platforms have been used, not as a current link for a particular CS2 match. Open the present-day event page to confirm the active destinations.
Language selection
Language coverage belongs to the individual event. The BLAST Bounty example explicitly offered multiple language broadcasts, while the available information does not establish that every event provides them. If the organiser lists several channels, select the one whose language is identified on the event page rather than assuming the main channel is the only option.

FACEIT Watch: an alternative viewing interface
FACEIT Watch is a separate web viewing service. Its support FAQ calls it “our premier esports viewing platform, offering you unique features to enhance and customise your viewing experience.” Viewing access is available to everyone, while logged-in users can access extra streams and select among player POVs.
Features documented by the FAQ
- An upcoming-match schedule for finding what is about to start.
- Match switching within the viewing interface.
- Highlight navigation.
- Multiple streams and player POV selection for logged-in users.
- POV access that the FAQ says does not require an active subscription.
- One-match-at-a-time viewing rather than simultaneous multi-match playback.
Login and device requirements
You can watch without an account, but logging in is required for the extra streams and POV selection described above. FACEIT’s FAQ says the service supports mobile web. It does not state that a native mobile app is supported, so use a phone or tablet browser rather than expecting an official app. Feature details can change as the product is updated.
Step-by-step: watching a match live
1. Locate the tournament
Open BLAST’s calendar when you want the broadest tournament list, or HLTV’s calendar when you want to scan current online and LAN events. Filter your attention to events marked upcoming or ongoing, then open the event listing.
2. Verify the start time
Read the event page instead of copying a time from an old post. Compare the displayed date with your local time zone and check whether the listing is for a best-of series, a single map or a full match block. Live schedules can be revised when previous matches run long or brackets change.

3. Open the organiser’s broadcast section
Look for the event’s Live, Watch or Broadcast link. Confirm that the channel name matches the organiser’s listing. For the BLAST Bounty S2 2026 example, that means checking for the listed Twitch channel or YouTube channel rather than relying on an unrelated search result.
4. Select a normal broadcast or FACEIT Watch
Choose the organiser’s channel for the standard production feed. Choose FACEIT Watch when its schedule, highlights, stream switching or POV controls are more useful to you. If you need FACEIT’s extra streams or POVs, sign in before the match starts.
5. Re-check if the video is not live
A scheduled match may be delayed, moved to another channel or awaiting the end of an earlier series. Return to the event page and refresh the listed broadcast destination. Do not assume that a blank player means the event has been cancelled.
Can you watch a CS2 match replay?
Often you can find recorded coverage, but replay access is not universal. The available official information does not establish a single full-match archive, a standard retention period or consistent access in every country. Some events may leave complete broadcasts on an official YouTube or Twitch channel; others may provide highlights, shortened uploads or no immediately visible recording.

- Flexible connectivity options with HDMI (V2.0) and D-Sub
A practical replay search
- Open the event’s official match page and note the exact series, teams and date.
- Open the organiser’s official video channel from that page.
- Search for the event name plus the round or teams, and check both full-broadcast and highlight results.
- If the organiser used more than one language channel, check the relevant channel as well as the main broadcast.
- If nothing appears, check again later from the same official event page. Do not infer that a replay is permanently unavailable from one missing result.
Why a replay may differ by viewer
- Retention: a recording may be removed or shortened after a period that the event has not published.
- Region: rights or platform restrictions can make a video visible in one country and unavailable in another.
- Language: a full recording may exist only on a secondary-language channel.
- Format: organisers may publish highlights while leaving the complete match on a live-video archive, or may publish the complete series later.
Because these conditions vary, phrase a replay expectation as “check the organiser’s official channel” rather than promising that every finished match can be watched on demand.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Watching on a phone, tablet or computer
Mobile web
FACEIT’s FAQ specifically supports mobile web, so you can open FACEIT Watch in a phone or tablet browser. The FAQ does not state native-app support. The normal Twitch and YouTube destinations are also browser-based services, but their exact mobile behaviour, sign-in prompts and player controls can differ from FACEIT Watch.
Computer viewing
A desktop browser is the simplest setup for comparing the schedule with the stream page, opening a second tab for brackets and switching back to the video. If you use FACEIT Watch, remember that its documented interface allows one match at a time.

Television or casting
The event pages in the available information identify web channels, not a universal television or casting method. If you want a larger screen, use the casting or browser features provided by your device and the selected platform, but verify that the stream page you opened is the organiser’s official destination.
Schedule and stream comparison
| Option | Primary purpose | Live broadcast status | Language information | Access requirements | Device notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BLAST tournament calendar | Discover tournaments, matches, brackets and results. | Not a guarantee that the calendar itself hosts every stream; follow the event page. | Not established at calendar level; check the specific event. | Use the public calendar. | Web calendar; current behaviour depends on the site. |
| HLTV event calendar | Scan ongoing and upcoming online and LAN events. | Primarily a schedule and results destination; confirm the organiser’s channel. | Not established at calendar level. | Use the public listings. | Web calendar; dates are live and can change. |
| Organiser’s Twitch or YouTube channel | Watch the official production feed. | Yes, when the event page lists that channel for the match. | Event-specific. BLAST Bounty S2 2026 listed multiple languages. | Use the platform account rules shown for that stream. | Platform and browser support vary. |
| FACEIT Watch | Schedule browsing, match switching, highlights and POV viewing. | Provides its own viewing experience when the match is listed. | Depends on the streams offered for that match. | Everyone can watch; logged-in users get extra streams and POV selection. No active subscription is required for the documented multiple-POV access. | Mobile web is supported; the FAQ does not state native-app support. One match at a time. |
Keeping up when schedules change
Treat every calendar as a live source. Match start times can move after a long series, a bracket update or an event-side decision. A listing that says “upcoming” today may become “finished” or be replaced by a new round tomorrow.
- Check the event page on the day of the match.
- Use the organiser’s own announcement when a calendar and a stream page disagree.
- Record the event name and round, not only a generic “CS2 live” bookmark.
- For a major event, keep both the schedule page and the broadcast page available so you can verify a channel change.
Troubleshooting common viewing problems
| What you see | Likely explanation | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The calendar shows a match but no video. | The calendar is a discovery page and may not host the broadcast. | Open the organiser’s event page and use its Live or Broadcast link. |
| The listed stream is offline before the scheduled time. | The match may be delayed or the listing may have changed. | Refresh the event page and check for a revised channel or start time. |
| You cannot find a replay. | The recording may be delayed, retained elsewhere, limited by region or replaced by highlights. | Search the organiser’s official channel and match page using the exact event and teams; avoid assuming permanent unavailability. |
| FACEIT shows the schedule but not extra POVs. | Extra streams and POV selection require a logged-in account. | Sign in, then reopen the match. The FAQ says an active subscription is not required for the documented multiple-POV feature. |
| You are trying to watch two FACEIT matches at once. | The FAQ documents one-match-at-a-time viewing. | Choose one match, or use the organiser’s separate channels if the event publishes them. |
| The phone experience differs from a desktop. | FACEIT documents mobile-web support, while platform features can vary by device and browser. | Use the latest browser available on the phone and return to the event page if a control is missing. |
What to expect from major event pages
A well-maintained event page should answer four questions: when the next match starts, which series is being played, where the official broadcast is hosted and whether alternative language feeds exist. It may also provide brackets, completed results and links to venue or ticket details. For BLAST Premier Rivals: Hong Kong, for example, the official homepage supplied the November 11–15, 2026 dates and AsiaWorld-Arena location; the event links are the appropriate place to check any current attendance information.
Do not generalise one event’s production package to the whole circuit. A Bounty event with Twitch, YouTube and several languages does not prove that every BLAST event has identical coverage, and an older ESL distribution announcement does not replace the current page for a new competition.
Quick Recap
A concise checklist before you watch
- Have I opened a current BLAST or HLTV listing?
- Did I verify the date and start time on the event page?
- Am I using a channel explicitly listed by the organiser?
- If I need another language, does this event list one?
- If I want POVs, am I signed in to FACEIT Watch?
- If the match is over, did I check the organiser’s official video channel and match page?
- Am I treating replay availability and regional access as possibilities rather than guarantees?
