To watch a college football game remotely, first find the network carrying that specific matchup, then confirm which service or local station gives you access. There is no single streaming service that carries every game. This U.S.-focused guide covers the 2026 season; schedules, service tiers and local availability can change, so check the listing again near kickoff.
Find the channel for the exact game
Start with the current schedule or broadcaster guide and look up the matchup—not just the team. Confirm the date, kickoff time and network, and note any regional restrictions. A secondary schedule guide can help you cross-check games across ESPN/ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and other outlets, but verify the final listing with the broadcaster or service itself. FOX specifically advises checking its schedule and local listings because schedules and availability can change: FOX college football viewing guide. A schedule guide is available at this college football schedule guide.

FOX, FS1, FS2 and Big Ten Network
Depending on the game and your location, FOX-family coverage may be carried on FOX, FS1, FS2 or Big Ten Network. FOX says those games can be streamed through FOX One, subject to the game, subscription or eligible TV-provider access, location and regional restrictions. Check the exact matchup and your access before kickoff; a FOX One subscription or provider login should not be assumed to cover every game everywhere. See FOX’s college football guide for current details.

Peacock’s September 11, 2026 guide says the service streams every college football game broadcast by NBC Sports during the 2026–2027 season, including select Big Ten games and all Notre Dame home games in the regular season. Peacock also lists replays and additional programming. This applies to NBC Sports’ slate, not college football as a whole. CBS games: local station or Paramount+
For CBS college-football broadcasts, Paramount+ says viewers can watch on their local CBS station or stream on Paramount+ with the Premium plan. The service describes its 2026 CBS slate as 22 games; that count is for CBS’s schedule, not the total number of college games that season. Cable, satellite and live-TV streaming services may also provide access to a local CBS station, depending on their lineup and your market. Check Paramount+’s CBS college football guide for the current game and plan details.
Local broadcast reception with an antenna
If the game is being shown by a local CBS station, a digital TV antenna may let you watch over the air without a paid TV subscription. Paramount+ lists an antenna as a way to tune in to a local CBS station. Whether the station and game are receivable depends on local channel availability and signal reception; check both before relying on this option. See Paramount+’s antenna viewing information.
ESPN and other outlets
Games also appear on ESPN/ABC and other outlets. Identify the exact channel first, then check the broadcaster’s current viewing page and the provider’s channel lineup. Do not assume a particular streaming tier or bundle includes a game: coverage depends on the service and market. The schedule guide at this college football schedule reference can help locate a listing, but confirm it with the relevant broadcaster.

- Look up the matchup: Use the current official schedule or broadcaster guide to confirm date, kickoff time and network.
- Match the network to a route: Check whether the game is on FOX-family channels, NBC Sports/Peacock, CBS, ESPN/ABC or another outlet.
- Verify the exact access requirement: Confirm the needed service tier, eligible TV-provider login or local-station carriage. Do not rely on a trial, basic plan or bundle without checking the listing.
- Check local access: For a local broadcast, confirm that the station is available through your provider or receivable with an antenna.
- Recheck close to kickoff: Schedules and availability can change, and listings may be updated during the season.
How to choose between streaming, TV providers and an antenna
Choose based on the game you want, not a general claim that one service is best. A direct streaming service is relevant when it carries that matchup; a multi-channel live-TV bundle may be more convenient if your games are spread across several channels. Provider lineups can vary by market, and a complete current comparison of every provider’s channels is not established here. For a local broadcast, an antenna is another possibility if the station’s signal reaches you.
Quick Recap
- One specific game: Identify its network and buy or use only an access route that confirms that game.
- Several games across networks: Compare the exact channels in your market with the current provider lineup before subscribing.
- Local CBS broadcast: Check local-station access through a TV provider or antenna, as well as Paramount+ Premium.
- Uncertain schedule or market access: Confirm with the broadcaster and service shortly before kickoff rather than assuming coverage.
