How to wash a Geedup hoodie
- Prepare it: Turn the hoodie inside out. Tie the drawstrings securely, keeping any hardware close to the knot, and wash it with similar colours.
- Choose a gentle wash: Use a cold, gentle machine cycle and do not use bleach. These directions are from Geedup Co.’s care instructions.
- Air dry: Do not tumble dry. Geedup warns that high heat can loosen adhesive in some drawstring details and hardware.
- Iron cautiously, if needed: Use a cool setting and do not iron directly over graphics or prints. Geedup suggests placing a towel over printed graphics and branding.
Why the care label matters
Geedup’s general hoodie guidance is a useful starting point, but construction can vary between releases. Follow the label on your particular garment if it gives different directions. For example, Geedup’s Handstyle G Hoodie Black/Light Grey listing specifies 340gsm fleece and repeats the cold, gentle, inside-out wash and no-tumble-dry cautions. That fabric weight applies to that listed hoodie, not every Geedup style.
