A copy opened in your phone’s regular gallery or on a computer will look flat; that does not mean the panorama failed. For sharing the spherical presentation outside DJI Fly, DJI recommends uploading it to SkyPixel and sharing the link.

Open DJI Fly on your mobile device and tap Album.

Find and open the sphere panorama. DJI Fly can display the stitched image with its spherical effect. DJI describes Album as the place to review photos and videos in the app: DJI Fly app overview.

Use the app’s sphere or 360-degree viewing mode to move around the scene. Avoid judging the result from the phone’s ordinary photo gallery: DJI says a panorama saved there appears flat.

Why does a DJI sphere photo look flat?
A sphere panorama is made by stitching multiple pictures into one image. The spherical navigation depends on a viewer that recognizes and presents that panorama format. DJI says the stitched presentation is displayed in the DJI app or SkyPixel; a system gallery or computer image viewer may show the same file as a flat image. DJI’s explanation is in its photo and video sharing guidance.

So, a flat display in another viewer is not by itself evidence that the capture is damaged. Open the panorama in DJI Fly’s Album to check its spherical presentation.
View a panorama on DJI RC 2 or DJI RC
DJI documents a limited preview through the controller workflow. With the controller connected, open the sphere panorama in the DJI Fly aircraft Album and choose View 360° image. DJI describes this as a low-resolution preview. When the controller is disconnected, the saved panorama may not display because of controller performance limitations. For the fuller phone experience, transfer the panorama to your phone and open it in DJI Fly.

Transfer the panorama to a phone or computer
The available transfer method depends on the aircraft model. DJI’s export guide lists QuickTransfer for some supported models and downloads through DJI Fly for others. For computer export, DJI documents connecting by USB or removing the microSD card and using a card reader. Consult the applicable model guidance in DJI’s Drone Photo or Video Files Export Guide before choosing a route.

Share the spherical view
To let someone see the panorama as a sphere outside DJI Fly, DJI recommends uploading it to SkyPixel and sharing the SkyPixel link. Sending the exported image file directly to another platform may result in a flat display if that platform does not present the stitched panorama interactively.
