- Place the egg in the machine and deposit Sakura Crystals using the current interface.
- Watch the charge meter and mutation panel. Guides report that mutation becomes available at 100% and that the meter’s maximum is 150%.
- Before confirming, read the displayed outcome odds and any cost or effect shown in your game. Proceed only if the possible result is worth spending those crystals on that egg.
- Hatch the egg after mutation.
One community wiki’s August 2026 interface observations quote the prompts “Mutate (Unlocks at 100%)” and “150% MAX CHARGE.” Those labels are useful clues, not a substitute for checking the interface in your current game. The available guides do not establish that charging from 100% toward 150% guarantees Spirit Bloom or reliably improves its odds.

Bloom vs. Spirit Bloom: check the odds shown in game
Published probability claims conflict. AllThingsHow and Beebom report a 97.5% chance of Bloom and 2.5% chance of Spirit Bloom. The Steal An Egg Wiki describes different readings at different charge levels and with a paid luck boost, including 97.5%/2.5% in one panel state, 60%/40% at full charge, and 90%/10% with that boost. These are source-specific reported snapshots, not a settled, developer-confirmed odds table.
Use the odds displayed immediately before mutation as the best available guide. Do not assume that a figure from an older guide, another player’s panel, or a paid boost applies to your egg or current game state. The searched sources also do not establish authoritative multipliers for Bloom or Spirit Bloom.

Is mutation worth it for your egg?
Judge the decision by the egg’s value, its displayed income, the crystal cost shown in game, and the odds currently on the mutation panel. Mutation outcomes are reported as random, so treat a rare result as a possibility rather than a planned payout.
