OneStream Live can schedule prerecorded music as a continuous YouTube broadcast through its dedicated Create → 24-hour Stream feature. OneStream says this feature requires an Enterprise plan and supports a scheduled duration of up to 30 days. Before you schedule, confirm that your channel is eligible for live streaming and that your music permissions cover both the live broadcast and its archive.
Before you start: check channel eligibility and music rights
Confirm that YouTube Live is available to your channel
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to stream live. Its cited guidance also says streamers must be at least 16 and that live content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. See YouTube’s live streaming requirements.

Clear the music for both live use and the archive
Use music you own or have permission to use for YouTube livestream transmission. If the broadcast will be archived, check that the permission also covers the resulting on-demand video. A licence alone does not guarantee that YouTube will let the stream continue: YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party content and may show a placeholder, issue a warning, interrupt the stream, or terminate it.

For licensed third-party music, ask the rights owner or distributor whether it can add your specific YouTube channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube recommends this even when you have licensed content. An archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. You can review YouTube’s guidance on copyrighted content in live streams.

Connect your YouTube channel to OneStream Live
- In OneStream Live, open Social Platforms.
- Add or connect YouTube, then select the account and channel you want to use.
- Choose the channel category, authorize the account when prompted, and complete the connection.
OneStream’s instructions say a connected channel can then be selected when scheduling a prerecorded stream. The available channel and category depend on the account you authorize; confirm that the intended channel is connected before creating the broadcast. See OneStream Live’s YouTube connection guide.
Create and schedule the 24-hour stream
- Open the feature: In the OneStream Live web app, select Create → 24-hour Stream.
- Add your prerecorded videos: Choose files from your device, OneStream storage, or connected cloud storage. Prepare the videos or playlist you want the broadcast to play; OneStream describes this feature as looping prerecorded content.
- Select the destination: Choose the connected YouTube channel for the stream.
- Enter the stream details: Fill in the details requested in the form. The cited setup instructions do not establish specific recommended titles, descriptions, file formats, bitrates, or upload-size limits.
- Choose when it starts: Select an immediate start or schedule it for later.
- Set the duration: Enter the duration in days. OneStream’s Help Center says a 24/7 stream can be scheduled for up to 30 days and that this feature requires an Enterprise plan. These product terms were stated in an article last updated September 3, 2026; check the current plan details and account interface before relying on them.
- Schedule the broadcast: Review the channel, content, timing, and duration, then submit the schedule.
OneStream’s documented workflow and limits are in its 24-hour stream setup guide. The 30-day maximum is a scheduled duration, not an indefinite broadcast; plan to schedule a new stream if you need coverage beyond that period.

Monitor the broadcast and check for claims
After scheduling, check the broadcast in YouTube Studio for warnings or enforcement notices. If you use third-party music, confirm with the rights owner that the correct channel was allowlisted and review the archived video after the live broadcast ends for any Content ID claim. OneStream’s scheduling feature does not itself grant music rights or guarantee YouTube clearance.
