To track an upcoming Netflix title, open its details and select Remind Me when Netflix offers that option. You can review saved reminders in the Reminders You’ve Set row under My Netflix on a TV or mobile device. When the title is released, Netflix says it appears in My List and may also trigger an app notification or email.
Find upcoming Netflix shows and movies
Netflix may surface future releases in discovery sections such as New & Popular, Latest, or New & Hot. Upcoming titles can also appear in New on Netflix or Top 10 rows. Which labels and shortcuts you see depends on your device and the app layout. See Netflix’s guide to finding new shows and movies.

- On mobile: Look for New & Hot; Netflix describes this area as including Coming Soon, Everyone’s Watching, and Top 10.
- On an updated TV interface: The New & Popular shortcut has been removed. Look for New on Netflix or Top 10 rows on the home screen, or open a title page when you find a future release.

Set a reminder for a title
- Open the upcoming show or movie’s details page in Netflix.
- If Netflix displays a future release date and the Remind Me option, select it. The option is not available for every title.
- To verify the reminder later, search for the title or open My Netflix and find the Reminders You’ve Set row.
Netflix’s reminder instructions say to select the check mark on a saved title if you want to stop being reminded.

What happens when the title is released?
After release, a title you marked for a reminder appears in My List. Netflix may also send an in-app notification and an email; these alerts are possible, not a guaranteed delivery through a specific channel. The reminder row and later placement in My List are useful places to check if you do not see an alert.
Why a release date or reminder might change
Netflix says release dates can change because of production delays or the finalization of licensing contracts. If the date changes, the title reappears once Netflix identifies a new date. For the latest status, check the title in the app rather than treating an earlier date as fixed.

When to expect a Netflix release
There is no single schedule that applies to every title. Netflix says its originals typically become available globally at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Titles that are not Netflix originals in your country typically arrive at 12:00 a.m. local time. Weekly releases and titles released in line with their original broadcast schedule may differ. A missing alert does not necessarily mean the reminder was not saved: Netflix describes notifications and email as possible alerts, and notification permissions can be controlled in device and profile settings.

- iPhone or iPad: Check Netflix’s notification permission in the device’s Settings.
- Android: In Netflix, go to My Netflix > profile name > App Settings > Allow Notifications.
- Profile notification categories: Review notification settings on your Netflix Account page.
