ChatGPT can turn an idea or photo into a sticker pack, which you can download or add to iMessage or WhatsApp when the relevant option is available on your device. Open the ChatGPT mobile app, look for its sticker-pack prompt or template, and follow the export option it offers. If you do not see that flow, use ChatGPT Images to create and refine sticker artwork, then save it and add it through your messaging app’s sticker controls.
Make a sticker pack in ChatGPT
OpenAI describes a mobile sticker-pack flow that starts with an idea or a photo and offers a way to download the pack or add it to iMessage or WhatsApp on supported devices. The feature is described as available to ChatGPT mobile users globally; update the app if the option is missing. Interface labels and availability can vary by device or app version. - Start in the ChatGPT mobile app. Choose the sticker-pack prompt or template if it appears. Otherwise, ask ChatGPT to make a sticker or pack based on an idea or photo.
- Describe the subject and pack. Specify the subject, expression or action, visual style, and details that make each sticker distinct. For a coordinated pack, ask for several different expressions in a consistent style.
- Ask for sticker-ready artwork. Request a clean composition and a transparent background if that suits your intended use. ChatGPT Images can create images from descriptions, edit uploaded images, and follow instructions to make backgrounds transparent. - Refine specific details. Ask for a clearer outline, simpler background, different expression, or lettering correction. - Export or save. Use the pack’s download or add-to-app control if it is offered. Otherwise, use the image controls to save or share the artwork and continue in the destination app.
Add ChatGPT stickers to iMessage
Use ChatGPT’s add-to-iMessage option when it is offered, then check that the pack appears in your iPhone sticker collection. If you have saved individual images instead, Apple’s built-in sticker tools provide another route for making and sending stickers.

Create a sticker from a photo on iPhone
- Open the photo in the Photos app.
- Touch and hold the subject until it separates from the background, then release it.
- Tap Add Sticker. You can add an effect afterward.

Send a sticker in Messages
- Open a conversation in Messages and tap Add.
- Choose Stickers, then select a sticker collection.
- Optionally add a message, then send. You can also open stickers from the emoji keyboard.

Add ChatGPT stickers to WhatsApp
If ChatGPT offers an add-to-WhatsApp control, use it and check that the pack appears in WhatsApp. You can also save the artwork and use WhatsApp’s sticker controls. WhatsApp says custom sticker packs are available in the latest Android and iOS versions; if the feature is missing, update WhatsApp in your device’s app store. ChatGPT stickers versus WhatsApp’s AI sticker generator
WhatsApp also has a separate AI sticker generator. It is not the ChatGPT sticker-pack export flow: WhatsApp’s help page says the generator can create up to four stickers from a description, supports prompts in English, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and is available only in limited countries.
