For a visual AI agent, connect an application that can capture the browser, carry out the agent’s actions, and return updated screenshots. JioFiber does not require a special screenshot setting.
What you need
- A computer connected to the JioFiber Home Gateway over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Jio says Wi-Fi is available through a Wi-Fi-capable gateway; some selected gateways lack Wi-Fi and require a supported Wi-Fi gateway. See Jio’s Wi-Fi FAQ.
- A target webpage that the computer can reach.
- Either browser automation such as Playwright, or an AI-agent application that provides a browser or computer-use tool and handles screenshots and input.
JioFiber is the network path, not the capture mechanism. The cited Jio support information does not specify a special screenshot feature or a particular broadband speed tier for ordinary webpage captures.

Choose the capture method

An AI model alone does not control your browser or take a screenshot. The host application must provide the browser/computer integration and action handler. OpenAI’s computer-use guide describes this screenshot-and-action loop.

Capture a webpage with Playwright
Install Playwright and its browser
For Node.js, install the package and Chromium in your project:

Playwright versions require matching browser binaries. If you update Playwright, rerun its browser installation command as needed. The documented browser choices include Chromium, WebKit, Firefox, and selected branded browser channels; rendering can differ between engines. See Playwright browser documentation.
Run a basic screenshot script

The default screenshot is the current viewport; a page navigation timeout, browser installation issue, or inaccessible website must be resolved in the script/browser or network rather than by changing a screenshot setting on JioFiber.

Capture the full page or a region
To capture the full scrollable page, change the screenshot call to:

These are useful when you only need a portion of the page or want to obscure selected content; inspect the resulting image to confirm the mask covers what you intend. The Page screenshot API documents the options and returning a buffer instead of writing to a path.

Use a visual AI agent to inspect and interact
- Connect the agent application to the browser or computer session that is on JioFiber. Confirm the integration actually supports screenshots and the actions needed; the model cannot operate the browser without that handler.
- Send the agent a screenshot of the current page when its state is unknown.
- Allow a small group of safe actions, such as opening a page or selecting a visible tab, then capture and return a fresh screenshot so the model can inspect the result.
- If the model sees a downscaled image but actions use browser coordinates, convert coordinates back to the browser’s actual dimensions before clicking.
- Review the final screenshot for private details and confirm it shows the intended page before sharing it.
Constrain the run to the sites and actions needed. Treat text on a webpage as untrusted input, not as authority to override your request. Require confirmation before consequential actions such as purchases, sending data, or destructive changes. Keep screenshots in memory or store them only where needed. These safeguards follow the recommendations in OpenAI’s computer-use guide.

If the page will not load on JioFiber
Check connectivity separately from your Playwright or agent setup. In MyJio, link your JioFiber account, then go to Home → JioCare → Run Diagnostics. Jio says the check covers network health, router status, Wi-Fi strength, and device connectivity, and can identify issues such as weak signal, an offline router, loose cables, speed drops, or configuration errors. It may suggest actions such as restarting the router, improving its placement, or checking cables. See Jio’s broadband diagnostics FAQ. This checks the connection; it will not install Playwright, fix browser permissions, or repair an agent’s action handler.

Protect your Wi-Fi credentials
A screenshot task does not require giving an AI agent your Wi-Fi password. Do not ask an agent to reveal or transmit the password or other credentials. Jio advises managing devices through MyJio’s Manage Device Settings, not sharing SSID details with unknown people, and using an uncommon Wi-Fi password that is changed regularly. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take a screenshot without an AI agent?
Yes. A browser automation script such as the Playwright example can capture a page directly; an AI agent is useful when the page must be visually inspected or interacted with.
Will the screenshot look identical in every browser?
Not necessarily. Browser engines and versions can render pages differently; record the installed Playwright version and browser when repeatability matters.
