Use a browser agent to open the pricing page, select India or INR if the site offers that option, confirm that the displayed prices include an INR or ₹ marker, and then capture the viewport, a pricing element, or the full page. A browser screenshot can show what the page displays; it cannot establish that every SaaS vendor supports Indian pricing or that the displayed amount is the final amount charged.
What you need to verify before capturing
The target site determines whether India-specific pricing is available. Do not assume an Indian IP address, browser language, or geolocation setting changes the currency. Use the pricing page’s own country or currency control when present, then verify the resulting prices on screen.

- Select India or INR if offered, wait for the page to update, and check for an explicit INR or ₹ marker beside the prices.
- If the site has no India option or the currency remains unclear, record that limitation rather than presenting the screenshot as proof of INR pricing.

Run the capture with Playwright tooling
Exact setup commands depend on which Playwright agent or MCP client you use. In the browser session, first navigate to the target pricing URL and complete any locale selection. Then use the screenshot capability documented by that tool, choosing viewport, element, or full-page capture as appropriate. The following checklist keeps the agent’s task unambiguous:
- Navigate to the vendor’s pricing URL.
- Inspect the page structure with an accessibility snapshot; locate and activate its India or currency selector if available.
- Wait for the pricing content to update, then inspect the displayed currency and prices.
- Capture the chosen scope. For a selected element, target the pricing card or table; for a whole-page comparison, use full-page mode without an element target.
- Save the image with a descriptive filename, such as
vendor-pricing-india-inr.png, and inspect it for the vendor name, relevant prices, INR/₹ indicator, and overlays.
Playwright MCP supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP; it defaults to PNG when the format cannot be inferred. Its default scale is CSS pixels, with device-pixel scale also available. Playwright CLI documentation additionally describes a high-resolution option and warns that device-pixel coordinates do not align with CSS-pixel mouse coordinates. Choosing an output scale
Use CSS-pixel scale for a straightforward capture aligned with the browser’s CSS layout. Choose device-pixel scale or the CLI high-resolution option when finer image detail matters, such as when small pricing text needs closer inspection. Higher pixel detail does not fix clipped content, a wrong currency selection, or an overlay obscuring the page.

Local browser setup or a hosted browser
Local Playwright tooling keeps the browser workflow in your own environment, while a hosted browser service can provide managed browser execution. Cloudflare describes Browser Rendering as offering REST APIs for common actions and support for Playwright and Puppeteer in programmable and agentic workflows; see Cloudflare Browser Rendering. The available evidence does not establish a universally better setup: the right choice depends on your infrastructure and the target page’s behavior.
Inspect the saved screenshot
Before sharing or relying on the image, check the actual file rather than assuming the agent completed the intended task.
- Does the image show the correct vendor and pricing page?
- Are the intended prices visible, with INR or ₹ shown clearly?
- Did the locale selection persist after the page updated?
- Does a cookie banner, menu, chat widget, or other overlay cover a price?
- For a full-page capture, are all relevant pricing sections included and legible?
Troubleshooting common capture problems
The page shows another currency
Return to the site’s own region or currency selector and choose India or INR if offered. Wait for the page to update and inspect the prices again. If no India/INR choice exists, do not infer local pricing from browser location or language; state what currency the page actually displays.

The agent cannot find the selector
Use an accessibility snapshot or DOM-oriented references to inspect the page and locate links, buttons, or controls. A screenshot helps you verify appearance, but it is not the documented way to obtain interactive element references.
The screenshot omits part of the page
Check whether you captured only the viewport. Scroll to the needed section or use full-page capture. If you need just one pricing card, target that element instead; Playwright MCP does not combine an element target with full-page mode.
Small text is difficult to read
Try device-pixel scale or the CLI high-resolution option, then inspect the resulting image. Keep in mind that device-pixel coordinates differ from CSS-pixel mouse coordinates when interacting through the CLI.

An overlay hides the price
Inspect the page for cookie banners, menus, chat widgets, or other overlays before capture. Dismiss or close an overlay only when the page offers a normal control to do so, then capture again and verify the image.
