Alexa can help find a phone, a Tile-tagged belonging, or a compatible Fire TV remote—but each uses a different feature. It cannot locate an ordinary object on its own: for keys or a wallet, you need a linked Tile tracker.
Which lost-item finder should you use?
| What you’re looking for | What you need | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| A phone | Alexa Calling enabled | Ask Alexa to find your phone; Alexa rings it. |
| Keys, wallet, or another belonging | A Tile tracker attached to the item, activated in the Tile app and linked to Alexa | Ask Alexa to ring the Tile. The Tile and phone must be within Bluetooth range and connected. |
| A Fire TV remote | Alexa Voice Remote Pro paired with a compatible Fire TV or Echo Show | Use “Find my remote” with a compatible setup; the remote rings when it is within range. |
Find a phone with Alexa
Enable Alexa Calling, then say, “Alexa, find my phone.” Amazon says Alexa will ring the phone. Its guidance does not establish support for every phone configuration, so the command depends on Alexa Calling being enabled and the phone being set up to receive the ring. Amazon’s Alexa feature guide describes the process.

Find keys or other belongings with a Tile
For a physical item such as keys or a wallet, Alexa needs a Tile tracker attached to it. Tile’s Alexa integration rings the tracker; it does not make Alexa detect or locate untagged objects.

- Activate the Tile in the Tile app.
- In Alexa, open Skills & Games, find and enable the Tile skill, then link your Tile account.
- In Alexa, go to Devices > Trackers and enable the individual trackers under Find My with Alexa.
Once setup is complete, try “Alexa, ring my Keys” or “Alexa, where are my keys?” If you have multiple Tiles with the same item type, Alexa may ask which one you mean. Tile says the Tile and phone must be within Bluetooth range and connected for Alexa to ring it. See Tile’s Alexa setup and support instructions.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Where the Tile Alexa skill is listed as available
Tile lists the Alexa skill for the United States, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Spain, and Italy. Its support article lists English (US, Canada, Australia, and UK), Japanese, German, Spanish, and Italian for Alexa. These availability and language lists can change; check Tile’s current support page if the skill or setup option does not appear in your account.
What Amazon Sidewalk adds
Amazon has described compatible Echo devices as extending Tile coverage through Amazon Sidewalk. Amazon also says Alexa can identify which Echo a Tile was last seen near, including the day and time. That is a last-seen clue, not a guarantee of continuous or universal location tracking. Amazon’s Sidewalk announcement explains the capability.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Find a Fire TV remote with Alexa Voice Remote Pro
The documented remote finder is for Alexa Voice Remote Pro, not every Fire TV remote. Pair the Pro remote with a compatible Fire TV or Echo Show and register the devices to the same Amazon account. The remote must be within 30 ft (10 m) of its paired device.
