Short answer: Airtime Pro can schedule reusable audio playlists for radio shows, but the official Airtime Pro documentation cited here does not establish a way to send video playlists directly to YouTube. For a 24/7 YouTube video channel, schedule audio in Airtime Pro only if you need its radio workflow, then send video to YouTube Live through a separate encoder—or use a cloud service built to loop uploaded videos.
What Airtime Pro can—and cannot—do for this workflow
Airtime Pro is an internet-radio automation platform. Its documented workflow covers audio media, reusable playlists, and scheduled shows. The supported audio formats listed on its features page are MP3, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, and AAC. Its support information describes a station audio output and integration with third-party live playout software.

If you want Airtime Pro to schedule audio shows alongside your video operation, use its documented radio workflow:

- Set the station timezone. Open Settings and set the station timezone before programming the calendar. Each user can also set an interface timezone in their profile, so users may work in local time while the station keeps its own timezone.
- Upload audio. Use the Upload area to add audio media to the library. Airtime Pro’s features page lists MP3, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, and AAC.
- Create a scheduled show. In Calendar, choose a date, name the show, select a time, and add it. Airtime Pro also documents repeating calendar events and linking shows.
- Build and save a playlist. Choose Playlist in the dashboard, name the playlist, drag media from the library into it, and save. Saved playlists can be reused or modified later.
- Add it to the show. Open the scheduled show in Calendar, choose Add/Remove Content, find the saved playlist in the library, and drag it into the show’s scheduled content.
This schedules audio content for Airtime Pro shows. It does not configure the video encoder or YouTube Live stream.
Send prerecorded video to YouTube Live with a separate encoder
YouTube defines an encoder as software or hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming. For its encoder workflow, create or schedule a live stream in YouTube Studio, then configure an encoder with the YouTube stream URL and stream key. Start the encoder, check that its preview appears in Live Control Room, and go live there when ready. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours; check the current YouTube Help instructions before planning a launch.

- Prepare the video playback workflow. Choose an encoder that can play or schedule the prerecorded video you intend to stream. The exact playlist controls depend on the encoder; the Airtime Pro pages cited here do not supply video-playback settings.
- Create or schedule the YouTube live stream. In YouTube Studio, set up the live event and obtain its stream URL and stream key.
- Configure the encoder. Enter the stream URL and stream key in the encoder, and select the video playback source there. Keep the key private; anyone with access may be able to broadcast to the channel.
- Start and verify the encoder output. Confirm that the video appears in the YouTube Live Control Room preview before making the event public or going live.
- Start the live event in Live Control Room. When the preview and event details are correct, go live in YouTube Studio. A continuous 24/7 stream also requires the selected playback and encoder system to keep operating continuously, unless the chosen hardware or cloud service handles it.

Troubleshooting the handoff
- No video preview in Live Control Room: Check that the encoder is running, the correct YouTube stream URL and key are configured, and the encoder is sending the intended video source. Confirm the preview before going live.
- The Airtime Pro playlist does not appear in the encoder: Airtime Pro’s documented playlist workflow schedules audio for radio shows. Choose and configure video playback in a separate encoder; do not expect the saved Airtime Pro playlist to serve as a YouTube video playlist.
- The scheduled event cannot go live yet: If this is the channel’s first live stream, YouTube says enablement may take up to 24 hours. Check the channel’s eligibility and current Studio status.
- The stream stops after the operator leaves: A local software-encoder setup depends on its computer and connection staying available. Use a workflow designed to continue without that local setup, such as suitable dedicated hardware or a cloud service.
Copyright and channel-policy checks
Before scheduling prerecorded material, make sure you have the rights needed to stream every video and audio track. Using Airtime Pro or an encoder does not grant rights to the content. Also review YouTube’s current live-stream and monetization policies: permission to broadcast is distinct from eligibility to monetize, and repeatedly streaming material you do not own or lack permission to use can create copyright and channel-policy problems. Check YouTube’s current rules for the specific content and channel rather than treating a successful preview as approval.
