Sign in on the club’s website or app, set your delivery address or ZIP code, and choose only the shipping, pickup, or delivery option shown for your items. Costco and Sam’s Club use different fulfillment routes, and the price, minimum, delivery fee, coverage, and membership benefits can change by route and location. Check the final checkout details before placing the order.
Start with your address and membership account
- Open the official site or app. Sign in to the account associated with your membership. For Sam’s Club, eligible items may show Shipping, Pickup, or Delivery options; availability depends on the item and destination. See the Sam’s Club Delivery From Club FAQ.
- Enter the destination before shopping. Delivery coverage and item eligibility can depend on your address. Costco Same-Day availability is address-based; Sam’s Club Delivery from Club is limited to participating locations and service areas. Don’t assume an item can be delivered just because it appears in search.
- Choose a fulfillment method for each item. Review whether the item is offered for shipping, pickup, or local delivery, and follow the checkout route shown. A club membership does not make these options interchangeable.
Choose the right Costco fulfillment route
Costco separates online orders into distinct routes. Their product selection, delivery arrangements, pricing, and checkout handling are not identical.

Costco.com shipping
Costco says standard shipping is used for most Costco.com items. Other methods, such as express shipping or freight delivery, may have different charges or arrangements; item pages provide delivery details, and applicable shipping and handling charges appear at checkout. See Costco’s shipping-methods page.
CostcoGrocery 2-Day Delivery
CostcoGrocery is a separate grocery ordering route, with its own pricing and checkout details. Costco describes it as available nationwide with geographic exceptions. Check the CostcoGrocery FAQ for current coverage and order terms.

See Costco Same-Day Delivery Powered by Instacart FAQs.
Costco says Executive Rewards for Same-Day purchases are based on the original warehouse sell price before the markup. Check the current FAQ and applicable card terms to confirm which rewards apply to your order.

Delivery from Club
Sam’s Club describes Delivery from Club as available within a 15-mile radius of participating clubs, subject to service and item restrictions. Its pages describe free delivery on eligible orders of $50 or more for Plus members, subject to conditions; other orders or membership tiers may have different fees. The radius and threshold are current service terms, not guarantees for every club or cart, so check your address and the checkout total. See the Delivery From Club FAQ and service options page.
Check total cost, timing, and separate carts
Before paying, review the item prices and every charge for the fulfillment method you selected. Online prices may differ from warehouse prices, and a delivery fee or shipping charge can make a low item price less useful as a comparison.

- Timing: Verify the actual delivery window or pickup time offered for your address. Standard shipping, scheduled delivery, and faster delivery are different services.

- Rewards: Check whether the purchase qualifies for retailer or payment-card rewards, and how the reward is calculated. Costco specifies the warehouse-price basis for Executive Rewards on Same-Day purchases; Sam’s Club says Sam’s Cash is not earned on its separate Instacart orders.
When to use delivery through Instacart instead
Third-party delivery is not the same as a club’s own membership-linked fulfillment service.
Costco
Costco Same-Day Delivery is powered by Instacart and is available through Costco to members in covered areas. Costco says nonmembers may order through Instacart directly, but that is a separate route with different pricing. See Costco’s Same-Day Delivery FAQ.
