Every upgrade raises Pickaxe Power, which increases the damage dealt to eggs per swing and reduces the time needed to break them; it does not make your character run faster.
The prices and Power values below are the progression reported on October 15, 2026. Because the Roblox experience can change through updates, treat the live shop display as the final authority if it differs.

What a pickaxe upgrade actually changes
Pickaxe Power is the damage value applied to an egg every time you swing. A higher value means fewer swings for the same egg and therefore a shorter breaking phase in each robbery run. It does not increase movement speed, stamina, guard avoidance, carrying capacity, or the distance you can travel.
For example, the Hacker Pickaxe is listed at 15 million Power. Against an egg with 30 million health, two successful hits are enough if each hit applies the listed damage. The basic planning rule is hits needed = ceiling(egg health ÷ pickaxe Power); actual timing still depends on your swing rhythm and whether every hit connects.

Where to find the Pickaxe Shop
Load into the game and move into the Safe Zone around the spawn point. Look on the left side of spawn for the Animal Merging machine. The Pickaxe Shop is immediately beside it. You do not need to search the egg zones or a separate upgrade menu: the shop itself displays the available tiers, their prices, and their Power values.
If you cannot see the shop, first confirm that you are in the Safe Zone rather than at an egg location. Reorient toward the central spawn area, then check the left side for the Animal Merging machine. Interface placement can change after an update, so use the currently labeled shop and its displayed pickaxe list if the layout has moved.
How to buy and equip a stronger pickaxe
- Return to the Safe Zone. The purchase point is beside the Animal Merging machine on the left side of spawn.
- Open the Pickaxe Shop. Interact with the shop to display the progression of tools.
- Check your Cash. Pickaxe upgrades use the in-game Cash generated by your animals. Robux or a gift card is not required for the upgrade itself.
- Choose a tier you can afford. Compare the listed price and Power, and select the next useful tier rather than clicking a price you cannot pay.
- Click the amount shown under the pickaxe. The displayed Cash amount is the purchase control in the reported interface.
- Equip the new tool. Complete the equip action after buying it, then return to an egg and test the new damage per swing.
If the purchase does not complete, check that your Cash total covers the full listed amount, that you clicked the price for the intended tier, and that the item is not already equipped. Reopen the shop after a server or interface update if the list appears stale.

The K, M, B, T, and Qa abbreviations are the notation used by the game listing. Read the exact number shown in your own shop before spending, particularly after a balance patch. The Wooden Pickaxe is the automatic starting tool; all later entries require Cash.
Which pickaxe should you buy next?
The best next purchase is determined by the part of your complete run that is taking the most time or causing the most failures. A run is not successful merely because you break an egg: you must reach the zone, destroy the egg, take the animal, escape the guard, and deliver the animal to your base.
Buy Power when breaking the egg is the bottleneck
Watch how long you spend hitting the egg compared with the rest of the route. If the egg consumes most of the run, buy the next affordable pickaxe tier. The additional Power lowers the number of swings, which lets you leave with the animal sooner and reduces the time guards have to intercept you.
Do not skip straight to an expensive tier unless the purchase leaves enough Cash for the rest of your progression. A modest upgrade that you can buy now can shorten several runs and help fund the next tier faster than waiting while using a weak tool.

Prioritize Speed when travel or guards cause failures
If you break the egg quickly but repeatedly fail to reach the zone, outrun the guard, or return to base, a pickaxe is not the solution. Pickaxe Power has no movement effect. Spend your next upgrade on Speed when the route itself is the limiting factor.

These are guide references, not a permanent guarantee. Zone requirements may change with updates, so confirm the live requirement before committing Cash to a movement upgrade.

If your satchel reaches capacity before you are ready to leave, extra Pickaxe Power will not solve the problem. Increase carrying capacity so the run can include the animal or quantity you are targeting. Capacity is a separate bottleneck from egg damage and movement.

Change one variable at a time
Upgrade only one relevant attribute, then make another run. Changing Power, Speed, and satchel capacity simultaneously makes it difficult to identify which purchase improved your completion rate. This one-change test is especially useful when a new zone has different guard timing or travel distance.

Early game: remove the first breaking delays
The Wooden Pickaxe starts at 1 Power. The Stone Pickaxe costs $80 for 4 Power, and the Iron Pickaxe costs $800 for 15 Power. These early jumps are inexpensive compared with later tiers, so they are sensible targets when your first eggs take many swings. Keep enough Cash to continue running animals rather than draining your balance on a tier that does not address your immediate failure.
Mid game: compare each price jump with the time saved
From Golden through Rainbow, the listed costs rise from $20K to $2.8B while Power rises from 60 to 250K. Before buying, estimate how many hits your usual egg needs with the current and next tool. If the new tier removes only one swing and your escapes are already failing, Speed may deliver a larger improvement. If every run is dominated by repeated egg hits, the same purchase can be worthwhile even when the price jump is large.

Late game: treat Power as a route-time investment
Crystal, Demon, Hacker, UFO, Secret, Cool, Galaxy, Celestial, Sci Fi, and Enchanted form the high-cost end of the listed progression. Costs range from $20B to $200Qa, with Power from 1M to 250B. At this stage, use the health of the eggs you actually farm and the number of swings you record, not rarity alone, to choose a target. A higher rarity label does not change the basic rule: Power affects egg damage, while Speed and satchel upgrades solve different problems.

Common mistakes and fixes
Looking for the shop in an egg zone
The shop is tied to the Safe Zone and spawn area. Return there instead of searching the Forest, Desert, or another destination zone.
Expecting Power to increase running speed
Power only changes egg-breaking damage. If a guard catches you, inspect your Speed, route, timing, and satchel decisions rather than buying a stronger pickaxe automatically.
Clicking a price without enough Cash
The amount beneath each pickaxe is the purchase control, but the transaction still requires the full listed Cash balance. Farm animals until the total covers the displayed cost, then return to the shop.

Buying a tool but continuing to use the old one
Purchasing and equipping are separate actions in the reported sequence. After clicking the price, explicitly equip the new pickaxe before testing its damage.
Assuming a dated value cannot change
The published progression is dated October 15, 2026, and the fan guide warns that values and interfaces can change. If your live shop shows another price, Power value, or location, follow the current in-game display and treat the older listing as a reference rather than a promise.
Leaving before the run is complete
Breaking the egg is only the middle of the loop. You still need to take the animal, evade the guard, and place the animal at your base. Measure upgrades by completed deliveries, not by how quickly the egg health bar reaches zero.
