The Tekken 8 Spotlight is the in-game route to Asphalt Legends’ crossover rewards. It runs from 14 October through 11 November 2026. Open Asphalt Legends during that window, choose Tekken 8 Spotlight in the event hub, and complete its races and objectives to earn rewards and blueprints. The headline prize is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED.
There is no published external code or separate web-redemption step. Your progress, blueprint count, stage requirements and exact star gates are shown on the live event screen.

What the Tekken 8 Spotlight includes
Gameloft introduced the crossover in the Brawl of the Deep patch notes dated 13 October 2026. The limited-time activity is called Tekken 8 Spotlight, not a standalone download or a physical product promotion. It combines a car-unlock progression path, fighter-themed cosmetics and a Tekken-inspired competitive mode.
- Headline car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED.
- Decals: designs featuring Jin, Kazuya, Reina, Lili and Yoshimitsu.
- Special mode: a best-of-three match in which players crash into opponents to score knockouts, or win by having the most life when the timer expires.
- Additional event cars: Nissan 370Z Neon Edition, Pagani Huayra R, Apollo IE, Apollo EVO, Peugeot Onyx and Ford Shelby Super Snake.
The published availability ends on 11 November 2026. Once that window closes, the Spotlight should no longer be treated as an active unlock route unless Gameloft announces a rerun.

How to unlock the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED
- Open the game during the published event window. The crossover is presented as an in-game Spotlight activity, so launch Asphalt Legends rather than looking for a browser code.
- Enter the event hub. Select the tile or menu entry labeled Tekken 8 Spotlight. If several limited-time activities are visible, use that exact name to avoid opening another event.
- Read the stage panel before starting. Each stage shows its race or objective, the car requirement and a reward preview. Check these details before spending credits, tokens, import parts or other upgrade resources.
- Use an eligible car for each stage. The event calendar names seven cars associated with the Spotlight. A stage can require one of those cars, so verify the displayed requirement rather than assuming the Lancer is usable everywhere.
- Complete the listed races and objectives. Finish the tasks shown in the current stage to receive its event rewards and any blueprint items. The public announcement does not publish a universal stage-by-stage route; the live screen is the authoritative checklist for your account.
- Claim every completed reward. Collect blueprint rewards from the event panel, then open the garage and inspect the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED entry. The garage will show whether you have reached the unlock threshold or are accumulating blueprints toward it.
- Continue for star-up progress when applicable. If the Lancer is already unlocked, additional blueprints can be relevant to its star progression. Use the requirement displayed in the garage or event reward panel instead of relying on a number from a third-party guide.
Blueprint totals, stage gates and star requirements are not stated in the public patch notes. They can vary by the event configuration visible in-game, so any guide that presents a fixed total without showing an official event panel is not a reliable substitute for the live requirements.
Rewards you can receive
Gameloft’s Help Center describes the normal reward categories available from events. The Tekken Spotlight’s exact quantities are displayed on each stage, but the reward types fit the following pattern:
| Reward category | What it does in the event | What is officially established |
|---|---|---|
| Car blueprints | Advance the Lancer toward an unlock or later star progress; other blueprint rewards may support event cars. | The Spotlight can award blueprints, but the public announcement does not state the total, stage distribution or star gates. |
| Credits | Provide the game’s standard currency for eligible progression and upgrades. | Credits are a standard event reward category. |
| Tokens | Provide the game’s premium-style event currency for uses shown by the game. | Tokens are listed by the Help Center as an event reward category. |
| Import Parts | Support performance or part progression where the applicable car accepts them. | Import Parts are listed as possible event rewards. |
| Card Packs | Grant a pack of cards according to the event’s reward display. | Card Packs are listed as possible event rewards. |
| Tekken-themed decals | Cosmetic customization featuring Jin, Kazuya, Reina, Lili or Yoshimitsu. | These fighter decals are specifically announced for the crossover. |
| Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED | The headline crossover vehicle and the main unlock target. | Gameloft identifies this car as the exclusive crossover addition. |
Do not confuse a reward preview with an automatically granted item. A stage may display a blueprint or pack that still requires you to complete the objective and press the claim control. After claiming, check the garage or the relevant inventory category to confirm that the item arrived.

Cars named in the Tekken event
The official event calendar lists the following cars for the Spotlight. Their inclusion does not, by itself, prove that every car is awarded free or that every stage accepts every model. Treat the requirement shown on the individual stage as final.
| Car | How to use this information |
|---|---|
| Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED | The headline crossover car; inspect the event and garage panels for its blueprint and star requirements. |
| Nissan 370Z Neon Edition | May appear as a stage requirement or event-related progression car where the live panel specifies it. |
| Pagani Huayra R | Check the stage card before selecting it; the calendar names it, but does not publish a universal requirement. |
| Apollo IE | Use only when the current stage lists it as eligible or required. |
| Apollo EVO | Its calendar inclusion is confirmed; exact usage is determined by the live event screen. |
| Peugeot Onyx | Verify ownership and the displayed requirement before allocating upgrades. |
| Ford Shelby Super Snake | Check the relevant stage for eligibility, objective and reward before committing resources. |
This list is a planning aid, not a promise that all seven cars are unlocked by the Spotlight. The announcement names the lineup, while the event interface determines which car each stage requires and what each completion pays.
How the Tekken-inspired mode works
The crossover also introduces a mode built around direct vehicle combat rather than a conventional first-to-finish race. A match is best of three. You score a round by crashing into opponents to achieve a knockout, or by having more life than the opponent when time expires.

Round objective
- Look for opportunities to make a controlled collision that removes an opponent’s life.
- Do not treat a failed attack as harmless: losing life can decide the round when the timer runs out.
- Because the match is best-of-three, one lost round does not end the match; preserve enough life and adapt for the next round.
How to read the result
A knockout is not the only winning condition. If the clock expires without the required knockout, the player with the most remaining life wins that round. The event’s objective panel, rather than a normal race-position screen, is therefore the place to verify what the stage expects.

Use the event panel to make a decision before each attempt. Four checks keep limited time and resources focused on the Lancer unlock.
- Reward type: prioritize a stage that supplies Lancer blueprints if your immediate goal is the car. A credits, tokens, Import Parts or Card Pack reward can still be useful, but it does not replace a blueprint requirement.
- Car requirement: confirm that you own and can enter the required model. If a stage calls for a named event car that you do not have, move to another available objective instead of spending resources blindly.
- Time remaining: clear objectives with the event end date in mind. Start with stages that are currently open and leave enough time for retries or additional blueprint collection.
- Progression value: once the Lancer is unlocked, compare a blueprint reward’s value for star-up progress with a stage that gives a currency or upgrade item you need for another required car.

Finding the event and handling common problems
The Tekken 8 Spotlight is not visible
First check the calendar: the published activity is limited to the 14 October–11 November 2026 window. If you are outside it, the Spotlight may simply no longer be active. During the window, return to the in-game event hub and look for the exact Tekken 8 Spotlight label rather than a generic Tekken or crossover banner.
A stage will not let you start
Read the requirement shown on that stage. The event can specify a particular car or objective, and owning a different car does not satisfy that condition. If the stage is locked behind an earlier objective, complete the currently available task first and then revisit the stage panel.

Blueprint rewards are progress, not necessarily an immediate unlock. Open the Lancer’s garage entry and compare your collected blueprint count with the unlock threshold displayed there. If the car is already unlocked, the same screen indicates whether additional blueprints apply to star progression.
You expected a code or website claim
No external code or separate web-redemption procedure is provided for this Spotlight in the published announcement. Keep the process inside Asphalt Legends: open the event, complete its objectives and claim rewards from the in-game panels.
What you need—and what you do not
You need an Asphalt Legends installation and access to the game during the active event period. The crossover is digital and in-game; no physical Asphalt or Tekken product is required to unlock the car, decals or event rewards. A separate controller, racing accessory or strategy book is likewise not identified as a requirement by the official instructions.
Resource spending is optional and should follow the stage previews. Before using tokens, credits or upgrade materials, confirm that the purchase helps a currently available requirement or improves your chance of completing the objective. The event interface is the only dependable place for the exact blueprint quantities and star gates.
