A third-party guide lists 18 standard challenges—1,000 Zombies kills at each of three Pack-a-Punch levels on each of six maps. Another guide adds 15 Cursed-mode rewards and calls the full total 33, but that count is not settled: an official Season 05 update later confirmed Cursed Mode and new Pack-a-Punch camos on Rex Infernus. Check the current in-game Aeon challenge and camo collection before treating any online total as final.
How the standard Aeon camo grind is reported to work
Maxbit Games’ August 20, 2026 guide describes Aeon as a universal reward tied to the Pack-a-Punch camo collection. Its standard checklist has three challenges on each of six maps: earn 1,000 Zombies kills while the weapon is at Pack-a-Punch Level I, another 1,000 at Level II, and another 1,000 at Level III. Kills made at one tier should not be assumed to count toward a different tier’s challenge.

Do Cursed quests count toward Aeon?
A BoostingFactory guide reports an additional set of 15 Cursed Pack-a-Punch camos: three each on Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum, Paradox Junction, Totenreich and Kowakujō. It says to earn each by clearing that map’s Main Quest at Cursed Tiers I, II and III. Combining those 15 with the 18 standard camos, the guide gives a total of 33. Do not treat 33 as a confirmed current requirement. In its August 13, 2026 Season 05 Reloaded announcement, Call of Duty confirmed that Rex Infernus includes Cursed Mode and new Pack-a-Punch camos. The announcement does not establish whether those Rex rewards count toward Aeon, while the BoostingFactory checklist says Rex has no additional Cursed set. The official update therefore makes the five-map list and its total uncertain; it does not prove that Rex’s new rewards are required or excluded.
Call of Duty’s Season 05 Reloaded announcement describes Cursed Mode on Rex Infernus as offering “no Main Quest guidance and a limited HUD and starting Pistol.” That confirms the mode’s presence, not its relationship to Aeon.

How to verify your current progress
- Open the Zombies camo challenge or camo collection menu in-game.
- Find the Aeon challenge text and use it as the current authority for what the game requires.
- Compare the displayed Pack-a-Punch rewards with your unlocked status, including any rewards associated with Cursed mode or Rex Infernus.
- Track standard kill challenges by map and Pack-a-Punch level; separately track any Cursed Main Quest requirements that the game displays.
The available sources do not establish a definitive post-Rex total or a verified menu path. If the in-game challenge lists a different set of rewards from a guide, follow the game’s current challenge text.
What universal means here
Maxbit Games says Aeon can be equipped across Warzone, Zombies, Multiplayer and Endgame. The official material cited here does not independently confirm Aeon-specific compatibility across those modes, so treat that mode coverage as the guide’s claim rather than an official confirmation.
