To unlock Serpent Breathing in Slayers 2, community guides say you need to be a level-25 Slayer, have Wall Climb, collect five Beast Cores, and speak to Obari on the cliff above Windy Peak. The reported Demon Horn requirement and Wen fee conflict, so check Obari’s current dialogue before farming or spending currency. The described training includes five mini-games and a final fight against the Serpent Trainee.
Where to find Obari
Obari is reported to stand on a cliff above the Windy Peak starting area, overlooking the starting village and the Zuko spawn. Wall Climb is needed to reach the elevated ledge. A broader route guide recommends unlocking Double Jump as well, but specifically identifies Wall Climb as the access requirement for this climb.

Start at Windy Peak and head up to the cliff above the starting area. Once Obari assigns the quest tasks, the quest marker is reported to point to each training location.

How the reported Serpent training works
A Serpent-specific walkthrough describes the following tasks, unlocked one at a time. It says the quest marker directs you to each area.
- Meditation: At Butterfly Mansion, use the mat in the second room of the large house to the right of the spawn crystal. Click when the moving bar crosses the marker until the meter fills.
- Push Ups: Use the push-up mat in the large house. Click each circle as the inner ring approaches its edge; the guide says a red aura signals failure.
- Boulder Split: Find the two large boulders between Windy Peak and Mistfall Harbor and drag each slider to the far end.
- Boulder Push: In the maze behind those boulders, push the boulder in the direction shown by the arrow. The walkthrough gives a two-minute limit.
- Aim Training: At the target range near the large house at Butterfly Mansion, click targets as they appear.
- Serpent Trainee: From the Windy Peak shrine, climb the mountain on the right and win the fight against the trainee.
The walkthrough says winning the final fight unlocks Serpent Breathing. Afterward, open the Skill Tree and spend skill points to acquire the style’s forms. This sequence comes from an unofficial community guide rather than developer documentation.

Where to farm the materials
Community guides identify Demon Horns as drops from demons and Beast Cores as drops from Beast Born Demons. One farming guide points to the cave below the Mother Bear area for Demon Horns, and to Beast Demons near Mistfall Harbor’s village gate at night for Beast Cores. These are location leads, not guaranteed drop rates or promises of a fixed number of kills.
Because the required Horn total is disputed, verify Obari’s dialogue first. Then farm only what the NPC currently requests; the guides do not establish a reliable drop percentage.

Can you switch from Serpent to another breathing style?
A general trainer guide says switching breathing styles requires another fee and removes progress on the previous style’s forms. Treat this as a community-reported mechanic and confirm the current cost and consequences with the relevant trainer before changing styles.
