How to unlock New Game+
- Update 007 First Light to Game Client Version 1.3.0, the Extended Operations update. IO Interactive released it on October 1, 2026. See the official Update 1.3.0 patch notes.
- Complete the entire campaign on any difficulty. IO Interactive says a completed playthrough of the full campaign is required; its release announcement confirms that any difficulty qualifies. Read the official Extended Operations announcement.
- Start New Game+ using the option presented in-game after campaign completion. The official sources confirm the unlock condition, but do not document the exact menu label or button sequence.
What New Game+ lets you do
You can replay from the beginning or choose a checkpoint you have already completed. New Game+ also lets you use unlocked outfits and gadgets. During the campaign, the journal can be used to change outfits, and you can switch to gadgets already unlocked by that point in the story. Gadgets still become available in the order the campaign introduces them. These replay options are described in IO Interactive’s release announcement and patch notes.

How to get Photo Mode
Install Update 1.3.0; Photo Mode is part of Extended Operations. IO Interactive lists camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses. The published patch notes do not give Photo Mode a separate campaign-completion or progression trigger, nor do they specify its exact menu path or controls. Check the official patch notes for the feature description.

IO Interactive’s support notes list the following download sizes for version 1.3.0, released at 12:00 UTC / 14:00 CEST on October 1, 2026. Sizes can differ with later updates or platform packaging.

The patch notes also add that a completed campaign unlocks 00 difficulty. This is a separate difficulty unlock, not an alternate requirement for New Game+.
