To unlock Gragu in Mortal Shell 2, speak with him inside the One-Legged Wolf Tavern in Fainweald until he asks for the Heart of Vatra. Find the Heart at the Temple of Vatra, east of the tavern, then return it to Gragu and inhabit his remains to gain his Shell.
Where to find Gragu
Gragu is inside the One-Legged Wolf Tavern in Fainweald, near the One-Legged Wolf Beacon. Speak with him until he asks you to retrieve the Heart of Vatra. One guide notes that there is no established fixed number of conversations required, so keep talking until the request appears.

How to get the Heart of Vatra
- Leave the tavern heading east. Cross the bridges and follow the route toward the Temple of Vatra. Guide descriptions refer to the crossing as either the Bone Gate or the Traverse Gate.
- Follow the temple route upward. Look for a corrupted kneeling statue near the upper part of the Temple of Vatra.
- Take the Heart from the statue. Interact with the Heart held in its hands. Be ready for nearby petrified enemies to awaken after pickup, as walkthroughs report this encounter.
Walkthroughs differ on the exact way back after taking the Heart, so check the local exit and prepare for a fight rather than relying on one fixed escape route.
Optional temple chest
A chest in the temple reportedly contains Berserker’s Stone after you light three candle offerings. If you want this optional reward, explore for the candles and chest before taking the Heart. Guide accounts warn that the route may change after pickup, and access can depend on the route state or game build.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
How to hand in the Heart and unlock Gragu
- Return to the One-Legged Wolf Tavern in Fainweald.
- Give the Heart of Vatra to Gragu.
- After the scene, interact with Gragu’s remains and inhabit them to gain his Shell.
The hand-in is the quest’s resolution: guides report that Gragu dies in the scene and his remains become available to inherit.
What the Heart of Vatra does
The Heart is a quest key for completing Gragu’s request. Guides describe it as neither equipment nor a normal consumable, and it does not provide a direct combat upgrade when carried. Its purpose is fulfilled through the hand-in to Gragu.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
What Gragu’s Shell offers
Guide descriptions identify Gragu’s Staggering Blow as a heavy punch that can be charged; longer charging increases its damage and stagger pressure. His Revered Heart is described as a limited healing resource replenished by killing enemies. That makes routes with ordinary enemies available more favorable for replenishing healing than isolated fights. Look for a safe opening before committing to a charge attack; these are guide-reported ability descriptions, not experimentally tested build advice.
Sources and version caveat
The locations, quest sequence, and ability descriptions here are reported by independent guides, including one guide, another walkthrough, a Gragu guide, a further walkthrough, and another route guide. No official developer or publisher source was located for these details, so treat route and access behavior as guide-reported; patch-specific differences are not established.
