Activate every Mirror of Life you find to travel between those mirrors, then meet the Ferryman at a Wharf to open a second network connected by blue doors. A save room is not automatically a teleport destination, and the game does not let you jump to arbitrary map coordinates.
How fast travel works in Belmont’s Curse
Fast travel is built around discovered nodes rather than a single global map menu. Mirrors of Life handle point-to-point movement between activated mirrors. Ferryman Wharfs handle movement between regional docks. Each network has its own activation condition and destination list.

This distinction matters because the world is deliberately non-linear. You may revisit earlier streets, buildings, or castle approaches after gaining an ability or key, and walking back across the entire map can consume a substantial part of a session. GamesRadar+’s review described the fast-travel coverage as “surprisingly limited for a map so large,” so activating a node when you pass it is more important than waiting until you need one.

Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Mirrors of Life: the main fast-travel network
What a Mirror of Life does
A Mirror of Life serves two purposes. It is a checkpoint-like landmark for the area where you found it, and it becomes a travel node after you interact with it. The mirror does not appear as a usable destination merely because you walked past it. You must complete the interaction first.
Once at least two mirrors have been activated, entering one opens a hub containing the mirrors currently in your network. Selecting an activated mirror sends you there. Newly activated mirrors are added to the same network, so the list grows as you explore.
Activate a mirror step by step
- Locate the Mirror of Life. Search newly opened routes and rooms as you explore instead of assuming that the nearest save room is also a travel point.
- Stand directly in front of it. Position your character so the interaction prompt or response can trigger.
- Use the game’s interact or kneel input. The exact button depends on your platform and control settings; use the action assigned to interacting with environmental objects.
- Wait for the Mirror hub to open. This confirms that the game registered the activation.
- Choose an already activated mirror when you want to leave. A destination that has not been activated cannot be selected.
If the hub opens but the newly visited mirror is not listed, leave the interface and interact with the mirror again. A successful activation should add that node to the network. Avoid assuming that every ornate mirror-like object is a Mirror of Life; only the objects that respond to the game’s interaction are travel nodes.
Use every mirror as soon as you reach it
The most reliable habit is simple: whenever you pass an unactivated Mirror of Life, stop and activate it before continuing. Doing so creates a return point even if you have no immediate reason to teleport. It also reduces the risk that a failed attempt to reach a later objective forces you to cross several connected areas on foot.
When planning a route, choose the mirror nearest to your next objective rather than the one nearest to your current position. The network is useful precisely because it lets you reposition between already discovered parts of the world. It is not a substitute for opening new routes; unexplored areas still have to be reached normally.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Mirror travel and save rooms are different
Save rooms and Mirrors of Life should be tracked separately. A save room can provide a place to record progress without being a selectable travel destination. Conversely, a mirror can be a travel node even when it is not part of a conventional save-room chain. If a room is missing from the Mirror hub, that is usually expected rather than evidence of a broken unlock.
Ferryman Wharfs: the second network
Find the first Ferryman
The Wharf system begins when you reach a Wharf and interact with the Ferryman there. This first conversation or interaction enables the route. Before that activation, finding a blue door elsewhere does not give you a functioning Wharf-to-Wharf travel network.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- Reach the first Wharf area. The game presents it as a regional transit location rather than as another Mirror of Life.
- Interact with the Ferryman. Use the same platform-appropriate interaction action used for other environmental characters or objects.
- Confirm that the route is enabled. The Ferryman should provide access to Wharf travel after the interaction is accepted.
- Search for blue doors in other regions. These doors are the connections that reveal or link additional Wharfs.
- Enter each newly discovered blue door and use the associated Wharf. This adds another regional hub to the route when the game presents the connection.
How blue doors connect Wharfs
Blue doors are not a second Mirror system and they do not teleport you to any point on the map. They lead to matching Wharf locations, allowing travel between docks after the Ferryman route has been enabled. Think of them as entrances to a network of regional hubs.
Because the route is hub-based, a Wharf may be the best choice when your destination is in another broad region but not close to a Mirror. Conversely, a Mirror is usually more precise when you are returning to a particular discovered landmark. The two systems complement one another rather than sharing a single destination list.
Mirror and Wharf travel compared
| System | Activation trigger | Destinations | How routes are opened | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mirrors of Life | Interact with each mirror you discover | Mirrors already activated | Every successful activation adds one node | Precise movement between discovered locations |
| Ferryman Wharfs | Interact with the Ferryman at the first Wharf | Wharfs connected to the route | Use blue doors to reveal or connect additional docks | Regional movement between hub areas |
The practical difference is destination scope. Mirror travel is an individual-node network, while Wharf travel is a regional transit network. Unlocking one does not automatically unlock the other.

A practical route for unlocking everything you encounter
1. Establish a return point before pushing onward
When you enter a new section, look for a Mirror of Life before committing to a long one-way exploration run. Activate it immediately. If a Wharf is nearby and the Ferryman route has not yet been enabled, prioritize the Ferryman interaction so later blue doors have a purpose.

2. Sweep side paths before leaving an area
Fast-travel nodes are easy to miss when you follow only the critical path. After reaching a major junction, check side rooms, elevated passages, and dead ends that are safe to revisit. You do not need to clear every collectible to unlock travel, but you do need to investigate alternate routes where a mirror or blue door could be placed.
3. Mark activation, not just discovery
Seeing a mirror is not the same as activating it. Keep two marks in your notes: one for “found” and another for “activated.” If the game map provides an icon, verify that the icon changes or that the node appears in the Mirror hub before moving on.
4. Recheck locked routes after progression
A blocked passage can hide a travel point that becomes reachable later. When a new ability, key, or story event opens an earlier route, return through that route and repeat the side-path sweep. Do not assume that an area visited once has been fully checked.
5. Use the network before long backtracking
Open the Mirror hub or visit a Wharf before beginning a cross-map return. Choosing a nearby activated node can turn a long walk into a short approach. If neither network reaches the required area, the destination may simply be outside the currently activated network and must be reached on foot.

Why a point may not appear
The Mirror hub does not open
Check your position and repeat the interact or kneel input while facing the mirror. Some environmental objects resemble landmarks but are not usable Mirrors of Life. If the object never responds, leave and return after progressing through the area rather than treating it as an activated node.
You can see a mirror but cannot select it
The destination list contains activated mirrors only. Return to that mirror’s physical location and complete the interaction. Merely passing close to it, saving nearby, or viewing it during a cutscene does not establish it as a destination.
A save room is absent from fast travel
This is normal. Save rooms and fast-travel points are separate systems, so a save-room icon does not guarantee a corresponding Mirror hub entry. Use the room for saving and look for a nearby Mirror if you need teleport access.
A blue door does nothing useful
Make sure you have interacted with the Ferryman at the first Wharf. The Wharf route must be enabled before blue-door connections become useful. If the route is active, enter the door fully and look for the connected dock rather than expecting a direct transfer to a Mirror.
A platform control does not work
Control prompts can differ between PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, and custom bindings can change the action. Check the current control layout and use the command assigned to interaction or kneeling. Do not infer a universal button from a guide written for another platform.

How to track every unlocked point without invented coordinates
No authoritative source currently establishes a complete, numbered list of every Mirror and Wharf location. A careful completion log is therefore more reliable than copying an unverified count. Use the game’s map as the authority for the location and your notes as the authority for your progress.
- Mirror found: Record a short description of the room or route where you saw it.
- Mirror activated: Confirm that the hub opened and the node appeared in the destination list.
- Return tested: If practical, travel to the mirror from another activated node to verify that the connection works.
- Wharf found: Record the blue-door entrance and the dock it reaches.
- Wharf connected: Confirm that the dock is available through the Ferryman route, not merely visible in the world.
- Progression needed: Note any blocked passage so you know to revisit it after unlocking the required route.
This method avoids two common completion errors: counting an unactivated mirror as finished and counting a blue door before the Ferryman has enabled Wharf travel. It also works when map labels differ between editions or language settings.
Platform and release context
Konami’s investor material identifies Belmont’s Curse as a 2026 release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with global availability planned. GamesRadar+’s review lists October 15, 2026 as the release date and names PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Because platform terminology and control prompts can vary, follow the labels shown by your installed version.
The fast-travel rules described here are system-level rules: activating Mirrors of Life, enabling the Ferryman route, and using blue doors to connect Wharfs. They do not depend on a universal button assignment or on a specific regional map label.
What fast travel cannot do
- It cannot send you to an unactivated Mirror.
- It does not turn every save room into a teleport destination.
- It does not provide arbitrary point-and-click movement anywhere on the map.
- Mirror travel and Wharf travel do not share one combined list.
- It does not remove the need to explore newly opened or previously blocked routes.
Understanding these limits prevents wasted time searching for a menu option that the game does not provide. If a destination is not listed, first identify which network should serve it, then confirm that the corresponding activation step was completed.
Completion checklist
- Activate the first Mirror of Life you encounter.
- Open the Mirror hub and verify that the node is listed.
- Activate every additional mirror immediately when you discover it.
- Reach the first Wharf and interact with the Ferryman.
- Find blue doors in areas that you revisit or newly unlock.
- Enter each relevant blue door and confirm its Wharf connection.
- Keep Mirrors, Wharfs, and save rooms in separate notes.
- Revisit blocked side paths after progression changes the map.
- Before a long return trip, check both networks for a closer approach.
- Use the in-game map and your activation log rather than an unverified total count.
Following that routine is the dependable way to unlock every fast-travel point you can reach: activate each Mirror of Life, enable the Ferryman’s Wharf route once, and connect every blue-door Wharf you encounter while the world opens.
