A separate bonus gives Estelle and Joshua classic SC-inspired outfits if you have clear data from Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on the same platform.
Claim purchased DLC in-game
- Open the Nintendo, PlayStation, or Steam store for the platform on which you own Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.
- Purchase the individual cosmetic pack you want, or the season pass if its included sets suit you. Download the content. Nintendo says to install the latest game patch if necessary.
- On PlayStation, the listed retrieval path is: open the main menu, select ITEM, then the DLC tab and choose the newly added content. This menu path is documented in the PlayStation Store listing; platform-specific labels for Switch and Steam are not established here.
The base game is required. A physical copy of the game does not itself include or unlock the digital costume packs. PlayStation Store · Nintendo Store

Choose between an individual pack and the season pass
Costumes and attachments are store purchases, not rewards that all unlock through story progress. Nintendo’s US listing schedules the season-pass cosmetic contents in three waves; the listed items are also sold individually on their wave date. Store prices and availability can differ by platform and region.
| Store release date (Nintendo US, 2026) | Season-pass cosmetic contents |
|---|---|
| September 17 | Original Cheerleader Costume Set; Glasses Set A; Pom Pom Head Set; Thrilling Stadium Set; Exciting Effect Set; Shiny Hair Color Set; Orbment Cover Set – 2nd Chapter |
| September 24 | Eternal Summer Swimsuit Set; Eye Mask Set; Summer Fun Set; Pocket-Sized Partner Set; Streaked Hair Color Set; Chibi Orbment Cover Set – 2nd Chapter; 1st Chapter Costume Set; 1st Chapter Attachment Set |
| October 1 | What-If Costume Set; Glasses Set B; Classic Character Stand Set; Professional Dress-Up Set |
These are Nintendo US storefront release dates, not a guarantee of the calendar on every regional store. The season pass does not include consumable item sets or content labeled Extra DLC. Nintendo also lists add-ons outside the pass, including Free Sample Set, Battle Boost Pack, Advanced Item Sets, Starter Set, Fluffy Creepy Sheep Costume Set, and NEO character costumes. Check the contents on your own platform’s store before buying. Nintendo Store

Costume sets change character outfits; attachment and appearance sets include items such as glasses, hair colors, orbment covers, and character stands. Steam’s listing describes Original Cheerleader as the “Cheerful Star” costumes, Eternal Summer as swimsuit costumes, and What-If as outfits for certain characters. Steam DLC listing
Get the classic Estelle and Joshua costumes with linked save data
Falcom says that clear data from Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on the same platform grants Estelle and Joshua the Classic Style SC costumes when you begin 2nd Chapter. This is a linked-save bonus, not a paid DLC pack. A save on a different platform does not meet the stated same-platform condition. Falcom

If purchased content does not appear
- Confirm that you bought and downloaded the pack through the store for the same platform edition as your game.
- Install the latest required game update; Nintendo specifically notes this may be necessary.
- Check the in-game DLC tab. The explicit main menu → ITEM → DLC path is documented for PlayStation.
- For Steam, one community user suggests checking the game’s Properties and DLC list. Treat this as anecdotal troubleshooting, not official support guidance.
Check platform and edition before purchasing
Falcom lists versions for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam. DLC is a digital product associated with its platform storefront, so confirm the exact game edition and regional store listing before checkout; a purchase in one platform’s store should not be assumed to transfer to another.
