There is no universal unlock code for limited-time modes in Call of Duty: Mobile. These activities rotate with seasonal content, and each one can use a different access rule. Start by checking the current Multiplayer and Battle Royale mode lists, then open the in-game Events tab. The active mode or event card tells you whether you can select the activity immediately, must complete assignments, or has an in-match objective before its special content becomes available.
Season announcements describe past events, not a live October 2026 schedule. Treat the mode list and event card in your own current game build as the authoritative source for availability, dates, missions and rewards.

What “limited-time mode” means in Call of Duty: Mobile
Limited-time modes are temporary activities added as part of seasonal content. The official Call of Duty: Mobile game page describes seasons as bringing combinations of new modes, maps, events and rewards. A mode may appear in Multiplayer, Battle Royale or an event-specific activity area, and it can disappear when its season or event window ends.

That rotation is why an older guide can be accurate about its original season but useless for your current menu. A mode name, map, contract, faction or reward mentioned in a previous announcement does not prove that the same content is active now.

Why unlock instructions differ
“Unlock” can mean several different things:
- The activity is already live and can be selected from the normal mode screen.
- The event card requires login days, daily missions or a set of assignments before a reward or additional activity becomes available.
- The mode is selectable, but its distinctive feature only activates after an objective inside a match.
- The event has ended, so no in-game action can unlock it until the publisher brings it back.
Read the instructions attached to the specific activity rather than applying a recipe from another season.
How to find and unlock the active mode
- Open the mode-selection screen. From the game’s main lobby, enter the current Multiplayer or Battle Royale listing. Scan the available tiles for a limited-time label, seasonal name or event artwork. If the activity is not listed, check the Events tab before assuming it has been removed permanently.
- Open the in-game Events tab. Select the card for the relevant season or event. Read its dates, missions, login conditions, assignment chain and reward milestones. Official season guidance specifically directs players to this tab for information such as daily-mission rewards and monthly-login incentives.
- Read the activity’s own access text. Look for wording such as “Play,” “Go,” “Complete assignment,” “Unlock,” or an objective description. The button and instructions on the live card take precedence over a video or article made for an earlier season.
- Meet the stated condition. If the card sends you directly to a mode, select it and queue normally. If it lists missions or assignments, complete only the requirements shown there; unrelated matches may not count. If it describes an in-match task, enter the mode and follow the objective during the match.
- Confirm the reward or feature unlocked. Return to the event card after the match or assignment. Look for a claimed reward, an opened faction or activity, a progress marker, or a new selectable tile. Some events track progress only after the match has fully ended, so leave the results screen intact until the game records completion.
- Check the end date before continuing. Limited-time progress can stop when the event window closes. If you need several logins or missions, calculate whether the remaining days are sufficient and prioritize expiring tasks.
Three access patterns you may encounter

The examples above show why a single “unlock code” cannot cover the game’s rotating content. Follow the current card’s wording and objective markers.
How to use a mode after it appears
When it is a normal Multiplayer activity
Choose Multiplayer, select the limited-time tile and review the rules displayed before queueing. Check whether the event changes the win condition, team size, map pool or available equipment. The exact rules belong to that activity’s card; do not infer them from a similarly named permanent mode. After entering a match, use the objective tracker and scoreboard as the source of truth for what counts toward the event.

When it is a Battle Royale activity
Choose Battle Royale and read the pre-match instructions. Some activities add a marked contract or a special location to the map. If the card names a contract, objective or portal sequence, complete those steps in order. In the Quantum Platform example, squads had to find and complete the marked contract, protect the teleporter while it charged and then enter the portal. A squad that skips the charge or enters the wrong interaction should follow the on-screen marker rather than repeat a generic route from an old guide.
When access is tied to an event chain
Use the Events tab to see which assignment is active. Complete the required task, return to the card and claim any available milestone before starting the next one. In the documented faction event, the second faction became available only after the first faction’s assignments were finished. That sequence is an example of gated progression, not a permanent rule for all themed events.
How to compare two limited-time activities
If more than one temporary activity is live, compare the cards instead of choosing by name alone. The following checklist covers the distinctions the official materials establish.

If a value is missing from one card, regard it as unspecified rather than assuming the other activity’s rules apply.
Dates, seasons and the risk of following an old guide
Seasonal availability is the central limitation. Official announcements document what was planned for a named season, but they do not establish what is playable in a later build. The official Season 3 announcement, for example, listed the Spring Invasion event from 16 March to 5 April 2026 and said that players needed logins and missions to earn all available rewards. Those dates are historical and are not a current schedule.
Use an announcement to understand how a past activity worked, not to decide whether it is selectable today. Before spending time on a guide:

- Check that the mode tile is visible in your current client.
- Open its event card and verify the displayed end date.
- Confirm that the missions and rewards match the current card.
- Watch for a season number or event name that belongs to an older announcement.
If the tile and card are absent, the activity is not currently exposed to your account through the normal menus. Waiting for a rerun or a new seasonal announcement is different from completing an unlock requirement.

The mode is missing from both menus
First verify that you are looking in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale, then check the Events tab. If there is no tile, card or current announcement pointing to it, the most likely explanation is that the activity is outside its live window. Do not spend matches completing unrelated missions in the hope that a hidden requirement will appear.
The event card is visible but progress stays at zero
Re-read the mission’s verb and scope. A task may require a particular mode, objective or login rather than any match. Finish the match normally, return to the event card and allow the results to synchronize. If the card names several assignments, make sure you are working on the currently active one and have claimed the previous milestone.
A special interaction does not appear in a match
Check that you entered the correct limited-time playlist and that the match has reached the stage described on the card. For an objective-based activity, look for the marked contract or map indicator, complete the prerequisite and wait for any charging or defense phase to finish. A portal or other interaction may not appear until the preceding step is complete.
The event ended while you were progressing
Limited-time windows are fixed unless the publisher extends them. A completed mission may still show in your account, but unfinished objectives cannot be assumed to remain available after the end date. Record the deadline before beginning a multi-day chain and complete expiring milestones first.
Rewards, assignments and login requirements
Event cards can combine several types of progress. Daily missions generally reset on their displayed schedule; login incentives count eligible logins; assignment chains unlock later steps; and milestone tracks show which rewards have been claimed. The Season 3 announcement explicitly told players to use the Events tab for daily-mission rewards and monthly-login incentives.

Claim rewards when the card presents a claim button so that you can verify the track has advanced before moving on.
Do you need special hardware or a paid edition?
The official materials reviewed do not state that a physical game edition, controller, phone accessory, repair item or manual is required to unlock or use a limited-time mode. Access is described through the current game menus, event cards and in-match objectives. Hardware can affect comfort or control preference, but it is not established as an unlock requirement for these activities.
A reliable routine for every seasonal rotation
- Open the current Multiplayer and Battle Royale lists immediately after a seasonal update.
- Open every relevant event card and note the displayed end date.
- Separate direct-play activities from assignment-gated and objective-gated activities.
- Complete the shortest expiring requirements first, especially login or daily tasks.
- After each match, verify progress on the card instead of assuming it counted.
- Keep the card’s instructions in view when an activity uses a contract, map marker, faction sequence or portal-style interaction.
- Stop following an old guide when its mode name, season number or dates do not match your client.
This process works because it relies on the live client’s instructions while still allowing older season announcements to serve as examples of the different ways limited-time content can be structured.
