Fists of Fury is free DLC announced alongside patch 1.30 on October 1, 2026. Its questline is in the Horns of the South, where you can pursue a fist-focused combat style with new weapons, gear and a dedicated Strength skill tree. The reported walkthrough starts with Rupert in the Flooded Mine; the official announcement describes a mysterious traveler who can challenge you and take you on as a disciple.
How to unlock the Fists of Fury questline
Look for the questline in the Horns of the South. Awaken Realms and Questline describe a mysterious hermit or traveler there who can be challenged and may accept you as a disciple. A community walkthrough identifies the quest giver as Rupert and places him in the Flooded Mine. Since the available walkthrough does not establish every route detail, use the journal markers if you have already reached the relevant areas.

- Pick Sage Plants and return to Cairn.
- Defeat a bear while unarmed.
The walkthrough result also mentions Ivory Hermit’s Garb, but does not establish exactly when it is obtained. Consult the quest journal for markers rather than relying on unverified directions or coordinates.
What “using” fist weapons means
Fistfighting Weapons still count as Unarmed attacks, according to the developer. You can equip a fist weapon and continue to benefit from equipment and talents that improve unarmed attacks. The DLC adds seven fistfighting weapons, unarmed armor and items, and a dedicated Strength skill tree, so the style can be built out rather than treated as a temporary novelty.

Brawler’s Gloves are named in the official announcement as an early entry point to the playstyle, not as a requirement for unlocking the quest. Supporting armor and items can complement the weapon choice: prioritize damage, survivability, mobility or stamina management according to what your character needs. Exact equipment stats and platform-specific equip controls are not established in the announcement, so check each item’s in-game description and the relevant equipment menus.
