To enter Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair, unlock Peaceful Meadow, Scrooge McDuck’s Store, and Chez Remy’s restaurant. Then go inside Scrooge’s Store, inspect the glowing Strange Mirror, and accept A Halloween Invasion. Interacting with that mirror takes you into the lair and starts the Oogie Boogie questline.
There is an important deadline: the first quest must be accepted before November 4, 2026. Once it is accepted in time, the remaining quests stay in your quest log and can be completed at your own pace. Entering the lair is only the beginning; permanently welcoming Oogie Boogie requires completing all six weekly challenges.

Where is Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair entrance?
The entrance is not a separate doorway on the map. It is a glowing, strange-looking green mirror inside Scrooge McDuck’s Store. The official event description tells players to investigate the mirror in Scrooge’s shop and enter it to discover Oogie Boogie’s lair.

Prerequisites before you can enter
Unlock Peaceful Meadow
Peaceful Meadow is one of the stated progression requirements for the event’s opening sequence. It must be accessible before the mirror interaction becomes available.
Open Scrooge McDuck’s Store
The mirror is located inside Scrooge’s Store, so the shop itself must be unlocked and accessible. Searching the valley or looking around the shop’s exterior will not reveal the entrance.
Unlock Chez Remy’s restaurant
Chez Remy’s restaurant is also listed as a starting prerequisite. Unlocking the shop alone is not enough if the restaurant requirement has not been met.

- Unlock Peaceful Meadow. Confirm that you can travel to the biome normally.
- Unlock Scrooge McDuck’s Store. The store must be open as a usable location in your valley.
- Unlock Chez Remy’s restaurant. This is the third stated requirement for the opening event quest.
- Enter Scrooge McDuck’s Store. Walk inside rather than searching for an entrance elsewhere in the valley.
- Find the glowing Strange Mirror. Look for the unusual glowing mirror inside the shop.
- Inspect the mirror. Interacting with it starts A Halloween Invasion.
- Enter through the mirror. Use the interaction that appears after starting the quest to travel into Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair.
The mirror interaction both starts the first quest and provides access to the lair. You do not need a separate map marker or a second portal after accepting A Halloween Invasion.

Deadline: accept the first quest before November 4, 2026
Season of Scares is presented as a six-week challenge sequence. The key date applies to accepting A Halloween Invasion, not necessarily to finishing every task. The official event notice says that if the first quest is accepted before November 4, 2026, the follow-up quests remain available in the quest log for completion at the player’s own pace.
That means you should prioritize reaching the mirror and accepting the opening quest before the cutoff. You do not have to rush through all six weekly challenges on the same day once the opening quest has been secured.
What if you missed the date?
The available event information guarantees continued access for players who accepted the first quest before November 4. It does not establish a universal late-entry rule for players who never accepted it. If the date has passed, check the in-game event or quest screen for the current availability of A Halloween Invasion; do not assume that entering the shop later will automatically create the mirror quest.
Entering the lair versus permanently unlocking Oogie Boogie
These are separate progress milestones:

Simply walking through the mirror does not add Oogie Boogie permanently to the valley. Treat the first entry as the start of the event, not as the final character-unlock step.

What happens after you enter Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair?
Entering the lair begins the Oogie Boogie questline. The event then introduces weekly challenges rather than completing the character unlock in one interaction. Keep the event quests visible in your quest log so you can identify the current challenge and any required equipment.
The Oogie Boogie Contract
One documented follow-up quest is The Oogie Boogie Contract. Its tasks use event-specific equipment and several collection objectives:
- Equip the Ghost Lantern.
- Wear a Lock, Shock, or Barrel Mask.
- Run through Ghosties to collect three.
- Release Ghosties in several buildings.
- Cook Snake and Spider Stew.
The documented ingredients for Snake and Spider Stew are Mushy Banana, Oogie Boogie’s Eggs, and Super Salty Seaweed. These names matter because the recipe objective is tied to the event quest; ordinary ingredients with similar descriptions will not substitute for the listed items.

Why the equipment matters
The Ghost Lantern and the specified mask are not optional cosmetic suggestions for this quest. Equip them before attempting the Ghosties objectives so the relevant interactions can register. If the quest does not advance, recheck the active quest’s wording and confirm that both items are equipped rather than merely stored in your inventory.

- Peaceful Meadow unlocked.
- Scrooge McDuck’s Store unlocked.
- Chez Remy’s restaurant unlocked.
- Strange Mirror located inside Scrooge’s Store.
- A Halloween Invasion accepted before November 4, 2026.
- Current weekly challenge selected in the quest log.
- Required event equipment equipped for the current objective.
- All six weekly challenges completed for permanent Oogie Boogie access.
The checklist separates location access, deadline protection, individual quest progress, and the final character unlock. Completing one category does not automatically complete the next.

The mirror is not visible
- Confirm that Peaceful Meadow is unlocked.
- Confirm that Scrooge McDuck’s Store is unlocked and that you are inside the shop.
- Confirm that Chez Remy’s restaurant is unlocked.
- Look for the glowing Strange Mirror inside the store, not elsewhere in the valley.
- Check the quest log for A Halloween Invasion after meeting the prerequisites.
The official support information places the mirror and lair inside Scrooge’s Shop. If all listed prerequisites are complete but the interaction still does not appear, leave and re-enter the shop, then check the event quest state again.
The mirror is present but the quest will not start
Make sure you are inspecting the mirror itself and not another shop object. The required interaction is the one that starts A Halloween Invasion. If the first quest was already accepted, the mirror may no longer present the same start prompt; use the quest log to continue the active event quest.

Gameloft’s support guidance notes that Goofy can become stuck in Scrooge’s Shop during active event quests. The recommended remedy is to complete The Oogie Boogie Contract, which restores his normal availability. Continue that quest’s Ghosties, equipment, building, and cooking objectives rather than abandoning the event sequence.
The weekly quest does not progress
- Read the current objective in the quest log and confirm that it is the active quest.
- Equip the Ghost Lantern when the objective requires it.
- Wear a Lock, Shock, or Barrel Mask for the Ghosties tasks.
- Collect exactly three Ghosties when that count is specified.
- Release Ghosties in the buildings named by the quest.
- Use Mushy Banana, Oogie Boogie’s Eggs, and Super Salty Seaweed for Snake and Spider Stew.
Event objectives can depend on the correct item or action, so completing a similar activity without the required equipment may not update the quest.
Temporary access or permanent Oogie Boogie: which goal do you have?
If you only want to see the lair
Focus on the three location prerequisites, visit Scrooge’s Store, inspect the Strange Mirror, and enter after accepting A Halloween Invasion. That is enough to reach the lair and begin the storyline.
If you want Oogie Boogie permanently
Secure the questline first by accepting A Halloween Invasion before November 4, 2026. Then complete each of the six weekly challenges, including any equipment, collection, building, and cooking objectives assigned by the active quest. The permanent welcome occurs only after all six challenges are complete.

If you are approaching the deadline
Do not spend the remaining event time gathering every recipe ingredient before accepting the opening quest. The deadline protection comes from accepting A Halloween Invasion in time; later quests can then be completed at your own pace according to the official event notice.
