There is no universal way to unblock RedTube: the right next step depends on whether you are seeing an age or location restriction, a network filter, an anti-adblocking notice, or a browser error. Follow local law, age requirements, and the rules of any network you use. A VPN may change the IP location RedTube sees or get past some simple network filters, but it cannot guarantee access or override those requirements.
Why is RedTube not working where you are?
Read the wording on the page before changing settings. An age-verification prompt or regional notice points to a different issue than an anti-adblocking warning, a school Wi-Fi filter, or a site that fails to load. Regional restrictions and age-assurance rules can change, so reports about a country or state are not a permanent access map.

- Age or location notice: Follow the site’s age-assurance process and applicable local rules. AdBlock says these restrictions are unrelated to its ad blocker. Its help center identifies support.adult.com as the support route for age or location restrictions. AdBlock’s guidance.
- Anti-adblocking warning: This may be related to a blocker or its filter list. AdBlock says its EasyList filter can cause issues on adult sites.
- Managed network warning: School, workplace, hotel, or Wi-Fi networks may filter destinations. Contact the administrator if you need to understand or challenge the restriction.
- Loading or playback failure: A stale cookie, cached site data, browser issue, or temporary outage may be responsible rather than a regional block.
What the 2025–2026 regional reports establish
The cited reports document particular notices and policies at particular times. They do not establish that RedTube is unavailable to everyone in any listed jurisdiction, or that restrictions have remained unchanged.

| Location | What was reported | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | On January 27, 2026, Aylo announced that new UK users would no longer be able to access its content-sharing platforms, including RedTube, from February 2. It said UK users who had already verified their age would retain access through existing accounts. Aylo’s statement. | This is the company’s announced policy. Aylo’s view of the UK’s Online Safety Act is its position, not an independent legal finding. |
| Australia | The Guardian reported on March 6, 2026 that RedTube, YouPorn, and Tube8 showed visitors using Australian IP addresses a notice that new account registrations were not being accepted in the region. The report connected the notice to age-assurance codes due to take effect March 9. The Guardian’s report. | The observed notice concerned new registrations; it is not proof of permanent, total unavailability. |
| United States | Cybernews reported on September 25, 2026 that RedTube was disabled in 25 states, required age verification in Louisiana, and remained accessible in Ohio. Cybernews’s guide. | This is a dated secondary-source summary. State rules and site responses can change; check current official notices and applicable law. |
| France | On July 15, 2025, the French Ministry of Economy said the Conseil d’État had confirmed immediate application of an age-verification order covering 17 pornographic sites. The ministry said noncompliant sites could face formal notices, financial sanctions, blocking, or delisting. The ministry’s account. | This describes the ministry’s account of the 2025 decision and legal context, not a current RedTube access check. |
The same French ministry release cited an ARCOM estimate that more than two million minors in France visit pornographic sites each month. That figure is reported here through the ministry’s July 15, 2025 release, rather than as an independently checked ARCOM publication.

In a 2026 notice, Brazil’s data protection authority said it had begun monitoring adult-content sites under the country’s child and adolescent digital-protection framework. RedTube was not included on the monitored-sites list published on the page reviewed, so that notice does not establish that the regulator specifically listed RedTube. The authority’s notice.
Choose a fix based on the message
Age or location restriction
- Read the notice and follow any age-assurance process that applies to you.
- If the notice appears incorrect or you need help with account access, contact RedTube support through the route identified by AdBlock’s help center: support.adult.com.
- Do not treat a VPN or DNS change as a substitute for the site’s requirements or local law. A VPN cannot be promised to restore access in any particular country or state.
Anti-adblocking notification
- Identify which ad blocker is active, if any.
- If you use AdBlock, its documented test is to disable its EasyList filter temporarily, reload the page, and see whether the warning changes. This is a narrow diagnostic test, not a reason to turn off privacy protections broadly.
- If the test indicates a filter-list issue, follow AdBlock’s support guidance or report the problem to the filter-list maintainers.
School, workplace, hotel, or Wi-Fi filter
Use only networks you are authorized to use. Ask the network administrator about a managed filter, or try another authorized network if appropriate. A VPN may stop a simple network-level filter from identifying the destination, but it is not guaranteed to work and could violate network rules.

Possible DNS-level block
Changing DNS may help only if the restriction is a basic DNS filter. It does not change the IP location a site sees, so it does not solve a location-based restriction.

Browser or temporary problem
- Clear RedTube’s stale cookies and cached site data.
- Try a private browsing window or another browser to check whether the issue is tied to the current browser session.
- Check whether the site is broadly unavailable before concluding that your region is blocked.
VPN, proxy, Tor, and DNS: what each can and cannot do
| Option | What it may address | Limits and trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| VPN | Changes the IP address and apparent location seen by a site, encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN endpoint, and may help with some simple network filters. | Does not guarantee access or override laws, age requirements, site terms, or network rules. Access may vary by location and site response. |
| DNS change | May help with a basic DNS-level filter. | Does not change apparent IP location, so it will not resolve an IP-location restriction. |
| Proxy | Can route requests through another server. | The reviewed guide warns that proxies may offer less privacy and security than a reputable VPN. They are not a guaranteed fix. |
| Tor | Routes traffic through the Tor network. | Video may be too slow for smooth playback; it is not equivalent to a reliable streaming connection. |
These tools address different technical causes; none changes which content or network use is lawful or permitted. The available reports do not establish that any VPN can lawfully or reliably bypass a particular RedTube restriction.

What to do if the block remains
- For an age or location message, use the site’s support route and follow applicable verification requirements.
- For a managed network restriction, contact the administrator rather than trying to evade rules you have not been authorized to bypass.
- For an anti-adblocking message, test the specific blocker or filter involved instead of disabling every privacy feature.
- For an apparent regional block, check the current site notice and official local guidance; older country or state reports may no longer describe the situation.
