Pause your match and go to Settings > Game Settings > Visual > Overlays > Scrolling Line Ups. Select On to show the lineup when you skip the match intro, or Off to hide it. Back out of settings to apply the change, then resume the match.
Change the Scrolling Line Ups setting
- Pause the match.
- Open Settings, then select Game Settings.
- Open the Visual tab. The FC 27 guide reports using L1/R1 on PlayStation or LB/RB on Xbox to switch tabs.
- Scroll to Overlays and select Scrolling Line Ups.
- Choose On or Off.
- Back out of settings and resume the match. The FC 27 guide says the change takes effect after you exit settings. NerdsChalk’s FC 27 guide, updated September 26, 2026, reports this menu path and procedure.
What the option changes
The setting determines whether the scrolling lineup appears when you skip the match intro. EA describes the option in its FIFA 22 settings documentation as controlling whether the scrolling line-up appears when skipping the intro. For FC 27, the secondary guide describes it as a lineup banner along the bottom of the screen.
Which setting should you choose?
- On: Keep the scrolling lineup visible when skipping the intro.
- Off: Suppress the lineup display when skipping the intro.
The FC 27 guide reports that the default is On. EA’s FIFA 22 documentation also lists On as the default for that edition, but it does not confirm FC 27’s default or current menu layout. The FC 27-specific path, controls, and default are reported by secondary guides rather than independently verified in an official EA FC 27 reference.
