For a JLab GO Air Pop, place the earbuds in the charging case and they turn off automatically while they charge. If you don’t have the case, disconnect GO Air POP in your phone’s or computer’s Bluetooth settings. JLab says the earbuds then power off after three minutes. Other JLab models use different controls, so confirm your exact model on the earbuds, the case, or the box before following any sequence.
Turning off GO Air Pop with the charging case
JLab’s GO Air Pop product FAQ says the earbuds turn off automatically when placed in the charging case, and JLab’s general charging guidance says that placing earbuds in the case powers them off and starts charging. JLab’s GO Air Pop product page and its charging case instructions describe this behavior.

- Place each earbud in its slot in the charging case.
- Close the case if it has a lid, then leave the earbuds inside.
- Expected result: the earbuds power off and begin charging. They should not stay connected to your device.
Turning off GO Air Pop without the case
If the earbuds are out of the case, JLab’s instructions use Bluetooth rather than a button press. Disconnecting the earbuds from your device causes them to shut down after a short wait.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on the phone, tablet, or computer the earbuds are paired with.
- Find GO Air POP in the list of connected devices and disconnect it.
- Wait three minutes. JLab says the earbuds power off after this period.
If the earbuds reconnect automatically when you put them back in your ears, the device may still hold the pairing and reconnect whenever it is in range. In that case, remove the pairing for GO Air POP from the same Bluetooth settings screen so the device stops reconnecting. This is a general Bluetooth step rather than a JLab-specific instruction, but it addresses the common cause of earbuds that keep reconnecting.

Epic Air ANC V2 and other JLab models
The Epic Air ANC V2 support page describes a similar no-case method. Turn off Bluetooth from the device’s settings, then allow three minutes for the earbuds to power off. The page is JLab’s Epic Air ANC V2 support article. It corroborates the approach for that model only; it does not show that every JLab model works the same way.
Some JLab models use touch or button controls that differ from the GO Air Pop. The JBuds Air Icon guide, for example, documents pressing and holding an earbud for more than three seconds as Power On, according to JLab’s JBuds Air Icon touch controls page. That is a power-on action, not a documented power-off method, so do not use it to turn the earbuds off.

Because the correct method depends on the model, check the name before you press anything.

- Match that name to a JLab support page. If your model is not listed in this guide, use the manual or support page for that exact model.
- If the page for your model gives no power-off instruction, avoid trying button sequences from other models, since a press that powers on one model may do something unexpected on another.

JLab’s published instructions are the reference for these steps. Product support pages can change, so if a step does not match what you see, check the current page for your model.
