Epic’s current official listings do not confirm Golf Cart spawns in public Battle Royale or Fortnite OG. The clearest documented way to try golf-cart gameplay is on creator-made islands, where Epic lists experiences that advertise it.
Are Golf Carts in Fortnite Battle Royale or OG right now?
Epic’s current experience listing names Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override and Fortnite OG, but does not confirm Golf Cart spawns in either public playlist. That means their current availability in standard Battle Royale or OG is not established by the official listing; it would be too strong to claim either that they definitely spawn or that they are definitively absent. See Epic’s current Fortnite experience listing.

Availability can differ by experience type: Epic controls public playlists, while creators publish and update their own islands. A vehicle shown in a creator island should not be taken as evidence that it appears in a standard Battle Royale match.
Where can you try Golf Cart gameplay?
Creator-made islands are the currently documented route. Epic’s creator pages advertise Golf Cart gameplay in experiences including Cart Clash and a Party Royale island with Golf Cart racing. Island listings can change or disappear, so treat those names as examples rather than permanent destinations. Browse Epic’s island listings.

Find an island through Discover
- Open Fortnite and go to Discover.
- Search for an island by its name or island code, following Epic’s island instructions.
- Check the listing in game to confirm it is still available and that its description advertises Golf Cart gameplay.
What creators can build
Epic documents a Shopping Cart Spawner device for creators to use on their islands, including for shopping-cart races. This is a Creative/UEFN creation tool, not confirmation that a Golf Cart spawns in a public playlist. Epic’s Shopping Cart Spawner documentation.
Why older Fortnite videos may show carts
Epic’s v4.3 patch notes introduced rideable Shopping Carts in Battle Royale in June 2018. At the time, they could be pushed or ridden, held two players, allowed a passenger to shoot, appeared in scattered world locations, and had fall damage enabled. Those notes describe a historical Shopping Cart feature; they do not establish present-day Golf Cart availability. Read the v4.3 patch notes.

Is “Lil’ Golf Cart” a vehicle?
No. Epic’s Major Lazer item listing identifies “Lil’ Golf Cart” as an emote, not a drivable vehicle or an item needed to access cart gameplay. The listing marks it currently unavailable; Item Shop availability can change. Check Epic’s item listing.
