How to Transfer Rainbow Six Mobile Progress Before the January 15, 2027 Shutdown

You cannot transfer Rainbow Six Mobile progression into Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console. Ubisoft says Mobile has no cross-progression with the separate Siege game. You can, however, link Mobile to Ubisoft Connect and keep the same Mobile progression synchronized between Android and iOS until online services end on January 15, 2027.

Ubisoft has said more transition information will follow. Its published shutdown announcement and Help Center guidance do not establish an importable save, a migration into Siege, a refund plan, or a way to continue using Mobile progress after the shutdown.

Can you transfer Rainbow Six Mobile progress to Siege?

No. Rainbow Six Mobile and Rainbow Six Siege on PC and console are separate progression environments. Ubisoft’s Mobile support guidance explicitly says that Mobile progression does not cross over to Siege on PC or console.

That means linking your Ubisoft account will not unlock Mobile operators, levels, cosmetics, currency, battle-pass items, season progress, or other Mobile records in Siege. Buying or installing Siege does not create a supported import path either. Ubisoft has not announced a conversion tool, one-time transfer window, or downloadable save that can be loaded into the PC or console game.

The similarly named games make this easy to misunderstand. Ubisoft Connect is the account system used to associate your Mobile profile with your devices; it is not a bridge that merges Mobile data with Siege progression. Treat “account sync” and “game migration” as two different questions.

What Ubisoft does support: Mobile sync between Android and iOS

When Rainbow Six Mobile is connected to the intended Ubisoft account, Ubisoft says Mobile progression syncs across supported Android and iOS devices. This is continuity within Rainbow Six Mobile, not a transfer to another game.

Where you want to use the progress Ubisoft’s stated support What to expect
Another Android phone or tablet Supported when the same Mobile profile is linked to Ubisoft Connect Sign in with the linked account so Mobile can synchronize its progression
An iPhone or iPad Supported when the same Mobile profile is linked to Ubisoft Connect Use the same linked account; this does not create a Siege profile
Rainbow Six Siege on PC Not supported; Ubisoft says Mobile has no cross-progression with Siege Mobile progression remains separate
Rainbow Six Siege on console Not supported; Ubisoft says Mobile has no cross-progression with Siege Mobile progression remains separate

When do Rainbow Six Mobile servers shut down?

Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Mobile Dev Team says, “The game will remain playable until January 15, 2027.” That date is the scheduled end of online services in the published announcement and Help Center material.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The game had reached 15 seasons since its 2023 soft launch, and Ubisoft later made it available worldwide for free on iOS and Android on February 23, 2026. Those milestones describe the game’s history; neither changes the separate-progression rule or creates a transfer option.

The shutdown announcement says Ubisoft will provide additional transition details in the following weeks. The published FAQ also addresses whether players can keep playing, whether the next seasons are still coming, and whether there will be a refund strategy for last season’s content. It says the next seasons remain planned before the service ends, but it does not establish what happens to Mobile progression after January 15, 2027.

What is confirmed and what is still unannounced?

Question Status in Ubisoft’s published announcement and FAQ
Can Mobile continue to be played before the shutdown? Yes. Online services are scheduled to remain available until January 15, 2027.
Does linking Ubisoft Connect sync Mobile progress across devices? Yes, across Android and iOS when the Mobile profile is linked.
Does Mobile progress carry into Siege on PC or console? No. Ubisoft says there is no cross-progression between Mobile and Siege on those platforms.
Will Ubisoft import Mobile progression into another game? The cited announcement and FAQ do not state that it will.
Can you download an importable Mobile save? The cited guidance does not announce one.
Will purchases be refunded? The Help Center says no refund strategy has been announced for last season’s content.
What happens to Mobile data after services end? The cited guidance does not describe a way to keep using the game’s progression after the shutdown.

These open points are why an account link should be treated as protection for current Mobile device continuity, not as a promise of future portability. Check Rainbow Six Mobile’s official announcement and Help Center channels for any later transition notice before relying on a new policy.

Step 1: Check which Ubisoft account your Mobile profile uses

Rainbow Six Mobile can be played as a guest or connected to a Ubisoft account from the game’s settings. A guest profile is not the same as a deliberately verified Ubisoft Connect link, so establish which state applies before changing phones or reinstalling.

  • Alternate between attack and defense, adapting your approach to operators and maps. Feel the thrill and intensity of the action as you leverage next-level destruction and gadgetry to outsmart your opponents in every round.
  • Destruction is more than chaos: it is a key tool for your success. Use the environment to your advantage – turn walls into windows of opportunity.
  • Engage in intense 6v6 battles, where attackers and defenders fight side by side and push to capture enemy sectors while defending their own.
  • Access to Ranked and Siege Cup is unlocked at level 50. Dual Front mode is not supported on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
  1. Open Rainbow Six Mobile on the device where your best or most recent progress is visible.
  2. Open the in-game Settings menu.
  3. Look for the account or Ubisoft Connect section and determine whether the profile is shown as a guest or connected account.
  4. If it is connected, note the Ubisoft account identity you intend to keep using. Make sure it is an account you can sign in to independently of the game.
  5. If it is a guest profile, use the available account-linking option in Settings and complete Ubisoft’s sign-in flow before switching devices.

The important check is the identity of the linked account, not merely whether Ubisoft Connect is installed on your phone. Linking the wrong Ubisoft account can leave you looking at a different Mobile profile after a reinstall or device change.

Step 2: Keep the linked account accessible

After linking, keep the Ubisoft account active and recoverable through the normal Ubisoft sign-in process. Ubisoft’s privacy policy says closing an account removes access to games and game progression. Do not close an account because you expect that action to preserve, export, or convert Mobile data.

  • Use the account credentials and recovery details associated with the Mobile profile.
  • Do not deliberately unlink the profile while trying to prepare a “transfer.” Ubisoft has not said that unlinking produces a portable save.
  • If you have more than one Ubisoft account, write down which one is linked before signing out or changing devices.
  • Keep access to the email address or other recovery method attached to that account until you have finished playing.

Account access helps you continue the supported Android-and-iOS synchronization. It does not change Ubisoft’s statement that Mobile progression cannot cross over to Siege.

Step 3: Verify synchronization on a second Mobile device

If you have access to another Android or iOS device, use it as a practical check that you linked the intended account. This tests Mobile continuity only; it is not a transfer test for PC or console Siege.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Install or open Rainbow Six Mobile on the second Android or iOS device.
  2. Choose the sign-in or account-linking option rather than starting a new guest profile.
  3. Sign in with the same Ubisoft account identified in the first device’s Settings.
  4. Wait for the game to load the associated Mobile profile.
  5. Confirm that the expected Mobile progression appears before making further account changes.

If a new or empty profile appears, stop before playing on it. Recheck the account identity and sign-in method on both devices. Do not assume that creating another Ubisoft account or unlinking the first one will merge the profiles; Ubisoft’s guidance does not promise account merging.

Step 4: Do not mistake a personal-data extract for a game-save export

Ubisoft’s privacy policy allows players to request an extract of personal data and says data can be used or transferred to another provider. That right concerns personal information held by Ubisoft. The policy does not say that the extract is an importable Rainbow Six Mobile save or that it can load progression into Rainbow Six Siege.

A data request can therefore be useful if you want a record of information Ubisoft holds about you, but it is not a documented migration method. The policy does not promise that the extract contains a format a player can restore inside Mobile, nor does it identify a conversion process for Siege.

  • dive into explosive 5v5 gameplay, High stakes competition, and thrilling PvP team battles..Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege features an ever expanding experience with limitless opportunities to perfect your strategy and help lead your team to victory

Keep the two goals separate:

  • Personal-data access: a privacy request for information associated with your Ubisoft account.
  • Game migration: a supported mechanism that reads Mobile progression and recreates it in another game.

Ubisoft documents the first concept in its privacy policy. The published shutdown guidance reviewed here does not document the second.

What happens to purchases, last-season content, and future seasons?

The Help Center’s refund question is specifically framed around “last season’s content.” Its published answer says Ubisoft has not announced a refund strategy and directs players to upcoming transition information. Do not treat the account link, a data request, or a purchase receipt as evidence that a refund will be issued.

The same FAQ says the next seasons remain planned. That statement concerns the period before the scheduled shutdown; it is not a promise that seasons, purchases, or progression will continue after January 15, 2027. Watch the official Rainbow Six Mobile channels for any later terms covering purchases, compensation, or the final season.

What you need—and what you do not need—to protect continuity

There is no special hardware or purchase required to link an account or check synchronization. A supported Android or iOS device, the Mobile app, and access to the intended Ubisoft account are sufficient for the supported continuity step. You do not need to buy Rainbow Six Siege, a controller, a backup drive, or a collectible to make Mobile progress portable. Ubisoft has not identified any of those items as part of a shutdown process.

The practical requirement is account accuracy. If the game shows the wrong profile, stop and identify the Ubisoft account that contains the desired Mobile progression before playing further. Keeping two profiles active does not create a merge, and spending more money does not create a cross-game entitlement.

How to monitor the transition without missing a change

Ubisoft says additional transition details will arrive in the following weeks. Because the announcement leaves refunds, exports, migration, and post-shutdown access open, revisit the official Rainbow Six Mobile announcement and Help Center rather than relying on launch-era instructions. The global launch article dated February 23, 2026 confirms the iOS and Android release, but it does not override the later shutdown terms.

When a new notice appears, look for four specific answers: whether any Mobile data can be exported, whether any benefit is offered in Siege or another title, how purchases or last-season content are handled, and what account access remains after January 15, 2027. Until Ubisoft states those points explicitly, do not infer them from generic Ubisoft Connect language.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Assuming Ubisoft Connect means one shared Siege inventory

Ubisoft Connect identifies your account and can synchronize Mobile progression across Android and iOS. Ubisoft separately says Mobile has no cross-progression with Siege on PC or console. The shared account name does not make the games’ inventories interchangeable.

Installing Siege to “claim” Mobile rewards

There is no announced claim screen or reward conversion for Mobile progression in Siege. Installing Siege cannot substitute for an official transfer policy.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Closing the Ubisoft account after linking

Ubisoft’s privacy policy warns that closing an account removes access to games and game progression. Keep the linked account open if you want to play Mobile before services end.

Unlinking because the wrong profile appears

An unexpected profile usually calls for an account-identity check, not an immediate unlink. Record which Ubisoft account was used on the device where the correct progression appears, then sign in with that account on the other device.

Treating a privacy export as a restorable backup

Ubisoft describes data access and portability rights, but does not describe a game-save format or restore command. Requesting data is not a documented way to resume Mobile progression after shutdown.

Relying on old posts instead of the shutdown notice

Rainbow Six Mobile’s service status and transition terms can change before January 15, 2027. Use the current official announcement and Help Center rather than assuming that an older launch article, community post, or Siege feature applies to the shutdown.

A practical shutdown checklist

  1. Before changing devices: open Mobile Settings and verify whether the profile is linked or still a guest profile.
  2. If it is a guest profile: link it to the Ubisoft account you intend to keep, then confirm the account identity.
  3. After linking: sign in on another Android or iOS device, if available, and verify that the expected Mobile progression loads.
  4. Until shutdown: keep the linked Ubisoft account accessible and do not close it.
  5. For privacy records: use Ubisoft’s personal-data request process if you want a copy of account information, but do not expect an importable game save.
  6. For refunds or compensation: wait for Ubisoft’s transition announcement; the cited FAQ has not announced a refund strategy.
  7. Before January 15, 2027: recheck Rainbow Six Mobile’s official channels for any new instructions about data, purchases, or final service access.

What should you expect on January 15, 2027?

Based on Ubisoft’s published statement, January 15, 2027 is the date online services are scheduled to end. The statement does not say that Mobile progression will become a downloadable file, move to Siege, or remain playable offline afterward.

Until Ubisoft publishes a specific transition mechanism, the safest interpretation is narrow: link the correct Ubisoft account to preserve supported Mobile device synchronization before the shutdown, but do not expect that link to transfer anything into Siege or guarantee access to an importable save after service termination.

The direct answer in one sentence

You can synchronize Rainbow Six Mobile progress between Android and iOS by linking the intended Ubisoft account in the game’s Settings, but Ubisoft does not support transferring that progress into Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console, and no post-shutdown migration or refund plan has been announced in the cited guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I transfer Rainbow Six Mobile progress to Rainbow Six Siege?

No. Ubisoft says Rainbow Six Mobile has no cross-progression with Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console. Ubisoft Connect linking keeps Mobile progress synchronized between Android and iOS; it does not merge inventories or create a Siege import.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Will my R6 Mobile progress carry over if I buy Siege?

No supported purchase or installation path has been announced. Buying or installing Siege does not unlock Mobile operators, cosmetics, levels, currency, or season progress.

What happens to my Ubisoft Connect progress when Mobile shuts down?

The account link supports Mobile device synchronization while online services remain available. Ubisoft has not stated that linked progress will become a downloadable save, remain playable offline, or move into another game after January 15, 2027.

Can I keep playing Rainbow Six Mobile before the shutdown?

Yes. Ubisoft says, “The game will remain playable until January 15, 2027.” The FAQ also says the next seasons remain planned before the service ends.

Is Ubisoft offering refunds for last season’s content?

The Help Center says no refund strategy has been announced for last season’s content. Wait for Ubisoft’s promised transition information instead of assuming that linking an account or submitting a receipt guarantees compensation.

Can a Ubisoft personal-data download restore my Mobile account?

No restoration method is documented. Ubisoft’s privacy policy allows a personal-data extract and discusses portability, but it does not describe an importable game-save format or a process for loading that data into Mobile or Siege.

What should I do if the wrong Mobile profile appears on another phone?

Stop playing on the unexpected profile, then verify the Ubisoft account identity used on the device with the correct progress. Sign in with that same account on the second device. Do not unlink or create additional accounts expecting an automatic merge.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Link Rainbow Six Mobile to the correct Ubisoft account in Settings to keep Mobile progress synchronized across Android and iOS until January 15, 2027. Ubisoft does not support transferring that progress to Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console, and it has not yet announced an importable save, post-shutdown continuation, or refund plan.
