Use vivo EasyShare’s Phone Clone feature to move selected content from your old phone to the vivo X Fold6. Pair the phones by QR code, choose what to copy on the old phone, and keep both devices available until the transfer finishes. The steps below describe vivo’s general EasyShare workflow; exact menu labels and available categories may differ by X Fold6 region or software build.
Transfer data with EasyShare Phone Clone
- Prepare both phones. Charge them, keep them close together, and open EasyShare on each. Choose Phone Clone.
- Show the QR code on the old phone. Select the old-phone role on that device. EasyShare will display a QR code for pairing.
- Pair from the X Fold6. On the X Fold6, select the new-phone role, choose whether the old phone is Android or iPhone, and scan the QR code displayed on the old phone.
- Choose what to move. On the old phone, select the categories or individual content offered in EasyShare, then tap Start cloning. Follow any on-screen permission requests. If the old phone has a screen lock, vivo Philippines says its PIN or password may be requested.
- Wait, then check the result. Keep both phones available until EasyShare reports completion. Open important files and apps on the X Fold6 and confirm that the content you need arrived before erasing, trading in, or resetting the old phone.
vivo’s general smartphone manual says Phone Clone migrates data “without consuming any data,” referring to mobile data use. That is a product instruction, not a guarantee of a particular transfer speed or a complete copy of every app, account, or setting. If your old phone is an iPhone
Install EasyShare on the iPhone before starting. On the X Fold6, choose iPhone as the old-phone type, then scan the QR code shown by EasyShare on the iPhone. Check the categories presented in the current app and keep the iPhone intact until you have verified the transfer. The consulted vivo instructions do not list every iOS category or promise that third-party app accounts and private app data will transfer. vivo Philippines EasyShare guidance

What may need attention after the transfer
Apps might need manual installation
vivo regional guidance warns that transferred apps may not install automatically because of permission limitations. It directs users to Files > Apps to install them manually. Menu wording can vary by software build.

Check app accounts and protected data separately
Open important apps and confirm that you can sign in and use their recovery or authentication methods. Do not assume passwords, banking credentials, encrypted notes, or every app’s internal data were copied. Use each app’s own backup or account-transfer process where needed.

A USB-C data cable is only an optional accessory for the computer-copy route, provided its connectors fit the devices and it supports data transfer. It is not needed for EasyShare Phone Clone.

Before you wipe the old phone
- Check that your essential photos, contacts, documents, and other selected content open on the X Fold6.
- Test access to important apps and complete any app-specific sign-in, backup, or authentication steps.
- Keep the old phone unchanged until you have confirmed that anything not transferred can still be recovered from it.
