For an Android-to-OPPO transfer, OPPO’s Clone Phone app is the documented route: set the OPPO as the new device, pair the old phone by QR code, choose what to copy, and start the transfer. Back up anything already on the OPPO first—OPPO warns that Clone Phone can overwrite existing apps and app data on the new phone. The steps below describe OPPO’s general workflow; exact F35 menu labels may differ by software version.
Before you start
- Charge both phones, keep them close together, and back up important data. Google recommends Wi-Fi when copying during Android setup; OPPO’s Clone Phone instructions call for Wi-Fi on the old phone and the new phone’s personal hotspot.
- If you have already put data on the OPPO, save or move it somewhere safe first. OPPO warns that Clone Phone overwrites existing apps and app data on the new phone.
- Keep the old phone until you have checked the transfer and signed back into important services.
Transfer with OPPO Clone Phone
OPPO says Clone Phone is typically preinstalled on its devices. If the F35’s menus differ, follow the equivalent role and device-type labels shown on your phone.

- Open Clone Phone on the OPPO. Choose “This is the new device,” then choose “Other Android” for the old phone.
- Open Clone Phone on the old Android. Install it if necessary, choose “This is the old device,” and scan the QR code displayed on the OPPO to pair the phones.
- Choose the content to copy. Select the categories available on screen and start the transfer. Keep both phones nearby and wait for the process to finish.
- Check the result. Look for your important contacts, photos, messages, files, and apps on the OPPO. Sign in to accounts and restore anything that did not transfer before retiring or erasing the old phone.
What Clone Phone can copy—and what it cannot
OPPO lists contacts, SMS, call records, pictures, audio, video, applications, calendar events, notes, alarms, wallpapers, and some system settings among supported categories. What appears can depend on device compatibility and the Clone Phone version; some apps or app data may not work on the new phone and will not migrate.

Alternative: copy during Android setup
Google’s Android setup flow is a separate option if you have not completed setup on the new phone. It offers cable or wireless copying and says both methods support the same data in that flow. Google says the transfer may be offered only once, so choose it during setup if you want to use this route.
Google’s setup copy has its own exclusions; they should not be treated as a list of Clone Phone limitations. Google says the setup transfer may omit downloads such as PDFs, media in hidden folders, apps not from Google Play, data from apps that do not use Android backup, non-Google accounts and their data, contacts or calendars synced to other services, ringtones, and some settings.

For the cable option, check that the cable fits both phones; Google says an adapter may be needed if their connectors differ. A data-capable cable is an optional accessory for this Android setup route, not a requirement for Clone Phone. The F35’s port is not confirmed here, so check the actual ports before buying a cable and ensure it supports data rather than charging alone. Google says a setup transfer can take from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the data amount and devices; that is general guidance, not a tested F35 timing estimate.

Neither method is established as universally faster or more complete. Choose based on whether you are still in Android setup and which transfer flow is available on your devices.
