To track cancellations after a 24/7 YouTube livestream, open YouTube Studio and go to Earn > Memberships. Review sign-ups and cancellations, then use See More to compare Members Canceled with Members Lost for the relevant dates. The figures are not interchangeable: a member may cancel but keep access to perks until the end of their billing period.
YouTube’s India-localized creator guidance documents this same Studio workflow; it does not describe a separate India-only cancellation report.

Where to find cancellation data in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio. Sign in to the channel that ran the livestream.
- Go to Earn > Memberships. Review the Memberships tab for sign-ups and cancellations during the displayed billing period. YouTube also lets you compare with the previous billing period.
- Choose a date range. Select See More, set the period you want to examine, and use the available time-series options, including Members Canceled and Members Lost.
- Check revenue separately. Go to Analytics > Revenue for the Transactions Revenue card and the Memberships breakdown. The Memberships view supports a custom time period and a video-format filter.
These reports help you examine membership activity around a livestream, but they are channel membership reports—not a separate cancellation report for an individual 24/7 broadcast.

Cancellation and lost access are different events
YouTube’s metrics track separate stages in the membership lifecycle. Members Canceled counts cancellations. A canceled member may continue to receive perks until the end of the billing period; Members Lost counts canceled members after their perk access ends.

Total members can include canceled members who still have access to perks. Active members excludes canceled members. As a result, a cancellation may appear before a corresponding loss of access, and a total-members snapshot is not an immediate count of cancellations.
When canceled members lose access
YouTube says a billing period may last 28, 30, or 31 days, depending on the calendar month. After canceling, a member generally keeps perks until that period ends and is not charged again unless they reactivate. YouTube says the unused portion is not refunded. The timing of the move from cancellation to lost access therefore varies by member.

When reviewing a stream’s follow-up period, allow for that gap. A higher cancellation count than lost-access count does not by itself mean the report is inconsistent.
Use chat for engagement, not cancellation tracking
YouTube documents a green live-chat message when someone joins as a member during a stream. That can help a creator notice new joins in the moment, but YouTube directs creators to the Memberships tab for member information and cancellation reporting. Chat is not a substitute for Studio’s reports.

What viewers should do to cancel
If a viewer asks how to end a membership, YouTube’s member-side instructions are separate from the creator reporting workflow: visit YouTube’s membership cancellation help page, choose the membership, manage it, and select Cancel. Perks generally remain available through the end of the billing cycle.
Revenue context for creators in India
YouTube Help says creators receive 70% of membership revenue recognized by Google after local sales tax and other fees are deducted. The deduction can depend on the country or region and the member’s platform, so this is not a guaranteed India-specific take-home percentage.
