To get notified when it reaches a chosen amount, ask Alexa for Shopping on the product page to set a target-price alert—or use a tracker such as Keepa or Camelcamelcamel. Check the live offer, seller, shipping, and availability before buying; a historical low or alert alone does not confirm that the deal is still available.
Check Amazon’s price history before the sale
- Open the item’s Amazon product detail page.
- Select Price history next to the price to view its historical trend.
- Compare the current price with the available 30-, 90-, and 365-day views. Amazon’s guidance also suggests asking, “Has this item been on sale in the past 30 days?” or “What’s the price history?”
Amazon’s 2026 guidance says price history is available to customers in the U.S., UK, Canada, and India. It describes 365-day insights as rolling out in the U.S., UK, and India. Availability can vary by listing and rollout, so a particular product page may not show every view. Set an alert for your target price
- Open the item’s product page and access Alexa for Shopping in the Amazon Shopping app or on desktop.
- Ask Alexa to alert you when the item reaches your target—for example, “Alert me when this drops to $50.”
- Watch for the notification and revisit the listing to confirm the offer is still available.
Amazon says Alexa for Shopping can create a target-price alert from the product page and notify you when the target is reached. This is different from Auto-Buy, a separate option Amazon describes that can automatically complete a purchase at a target using the default payment method. Choose a notification alert if you want to decide whether to buy yourself; do not treat Auto-Buy as notification-only. See Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping features.
Choose a third-party tracker if you want more options
Separate trackers can be useful if you want an additional chart or alert workflow. Neither service is established as universally best; choose based on your preferred notification method, marketplace, and how you want to track products.

Use the alert as a prompt to inspect the listing, not as proof that the item is still a good or available deal. Before checkout, confirm the live price, seller, shipping cost, and availability, and compare the total delivered price with the history you reviewed. Camelcamelcamel specifically advises verifying its data against Amazon before purchase; its history and alerts do not replace checking the current listing. Camelcamelcamel’s site provides that caution.
