The pre-release Season 02 preview confirms the content roster and an October 15, 2026 release date, but it does not document a practice-mode menu, item availability, controls, reset behavior, or whether the area works offline.
Once access is confirmed, use a controlled test: record the game build, item, ammunition or vehicle configuration, distance, stance, target setup, and task; change one variable at a time; and treat beta-era advice as historical guidance rather than a current walkthrough.

What is confirmed about Season 2
The official WARDOGS Season 02 preview says, “WARDOGS Season 2 releases October 15, 2026.” The preview was published before that date, so its roster announcement is firm, while live practice-mode behavior still needs confirmation from the launched build or a current official note.
WARDOGS is presented as a combined-arms first-person shooter in which players choose weapons, equipment, and vehicles for each life. That makes a practice area useful for loadout decisions, but the publisher’s overview does not establish that every announced item can be used there.

New weapons
| Weapon | Officially stated role | What the preview establishes |
|---|---|---|
| TCX Spear | Assault rifle | It is a Season 2 weapon supported by new attachments. |
| M14 | Designated marksman rifle (DMR) | It is a Season 2 weapon supported by new attachments. |
| PP-19 Bizon | Submachine gun (SMG) | It is a Season 2 weapon supported by new attachments. |
| Evo-3 Ultra | Light machine gun (LMG) | It is a Season 2 weapon supported by new attachments. |
The preview announces a range of new attachments, but it does not provide a complete attachment list, damage figures, recoil measurements, ammunition rules, unlock requirements, or practice-range restrictions.
New vehicles
| Vehicle | Officially stated role or description | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Wolf-110 | Fast, light wheeled transport | Practice availability, controls, passenger behavior, durability, and reset rules are not stated. |
| Wolf-110 (Assault) | Wolf-110 variant with a ring-mounted M2 Browning | Weapon controls, ammunition, firing arcs, and practice availability are not stated. |
| T-72 | Main battle tank; described as slower than the Leopard, cheaper, and more fuel-efficient | No measured speed, armor, fuel capacity, weapon performance, or range behavior is stated. |
| Flakpanzer Gepard | Anti-air vehicle | Weapon behavior, target support, controls, and practice availability are not stated. |
The descriptions are roles and broad distinctions, not controlled performance results. “Slower,” “cheaper,” and “more fuel-efficient” describe the T-72 relative to the Leopard in the official preview; they do not supply numerical values or a test condition.
What the official material does not tell you
The preview does not confirm that Season 2 has a firing range, a vehicle test area, or a combined practice mode. It also does not specify a menu path, whether practice is offline or online, which items spawn there, how weapons are unlocked, whether attachments are unrestricted, how targets are configured, or how vehicles respawn.
Recommended Free Tools
That means a current step-by-step route such as “open this menu, select that vendor, and spawn the T-72” would be invented unless the released game or a current developer document supplies those details. Treat any such route from an older build as unverified.
Release-day verification before testing
Use this sequence after the Season 2 update is installed. It verifies access without assuming labels or controls that may differ between builds.

- Confirm the build. Note the game’s displayed version, update date, platform, and region. Put those details at the top of every test record.
- Read current official notes. Look for a Season 2 patch note or developer announcement that explicitly mentions practice, training, a firing range, test-driving, or item availability. A roster announcement alone is not confirmation.
- Inspect the mode selector. Record the exact labels shown for any practice, training, range, sandbox, or similar mode. If no such label appears, do not infer that a hidden shortcut exists.
- Enter the mode and inventory its limits. Check whether you can select the TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon, Evo-3 Ultra, Wolf-110 variants, T-72, and Flakpanzer Gepard. Record lock messages verbatim rather than guessing why an item is unavailable.
- Check the environment. Note whether targets, ammunition, attachments, fuel, passengers, and vehicle stations are present. Record whether the session is solo, server-based, timed, or connected to progression.
- Test reset behavior safely. Before beginning a measurement, determine how a weapon reloads, how a vehicle is returned or respawned, and what happens after leaving and re-entering. If no reset function is visible, do not claim one exists.
- Make a baseline run. Fire or drive once with the default configuration and record only observations. Do not alter attachments or controls during this first pass.
- Capture evidence. Save screenshots or short clips showing the mode name, build number, item selection, and any lock or restriction message. This prevents a later patch from being confused with the original result.
How to test the four weapons
The purpose of a range test is to isolate behavior, not to produce a universal ranking. Use the same target arrangement and distance for each comparison, and change one factor per run.
Set up a repeatable weapon record
- Game build and platform.
- Weapon name and stated class.
- Ammunition type, if the mode exposes a choice.
- Attachment configuration, including an explicit “none” baseline.
- Distance, target type, target movement, and target size.
- Stance, aiming state, and whether the weapon is fired from a supported rest.
- Magazine or burst size used in each run.
- Observed hit pattern, reload behavior, sight picture, and any visible spread or climb.
Use the same number of shots and the same pause between runs where practical. If the game does not display a distance or target setting, describe the visual setup instead of assigning a made-up measurement.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsTCX Spear: assault-rifle baseline
Start with no attachment changes, then repeat with one attachment at a time. A useful sequence is a controlled single-shot group, a short burst, and a longer sustained string, provided the range permits those actions. Record where impacts land and how quickly the sight picture returns after each string. Do not turn those observations into a recoil statistic unless the game supplies a measurement method.
M14: DMR consistency check
Use the same target and distance for every shot. Record sight alignment, shot-to-shot recovery, reload behavior, and whether the mode permits the ammunition or optic configuration you want to examine. Compare only runs made under the same build and target conditions.
PP-19 Bizon: close-range pattern
Choose a fixed close-range setup exposed by the practice area and record a short burst and a full magazine separately. Note the impact pattern, time required to reload, and any attachment changes. Do not infer effectiveness against player armor or vehicles; the preview supplies no such test result.

- [Dont Hesite to Order] 24 hours customer services and professional technology team are standing by
Evo-3 Ultra: sustained-fire behavior
Record the weapon’s default sustained string before changing attachments. Note how the sight picture changes during the string, when a reload is required, and whether the range offers a way to repeat the same target run. If heat, spread, or ammunition limits appear, document the exact in-game indicator rather than assuming a mechanic.
How to test the vehicles
Vehicle testing should separate controls from performance. First learn what the released build actually binds to accelerate, steer, brake, change seats, use a mounted weapon, and exit. Only then run handling tasks.
Common vehicle setup
- Record the vehicle name exactly, including the “(Assault)” suffix where shown.
- Check the control settings for driving, camera, seat changes, turret or weapon operation, and vehicle reset. Do not assume keyboard, controller, or platform defaults.
- Identify a repeatable route or marked area. Record its surface and direction so later runs are comparable.
- Perform a slow control check before attempting speed, turning, braking, or weapon tasks.
- After each run, establish how the vehicle returns to a usable state. If the mode requires leaving and re-entering, record that limitation.
Wolf-110 transport
For the standard Wolf-110, test low-speed steering, a straight transport run, braking, and turning clearance. The official description establishes that it is fast, light, and wheeled; it does not provide a speed value or handling benchmark. Record passenger-seat access only if the practice session exposes it.
Wolf-110 (Assault)
Repeat the transport checks first, then verify the ring-mounted M2 Browning controls from the seat the game assigns. Record whether the weapon can be operated while stationary, while moving, or only by another seat. These are observations to verify in the live build, not features promised by the preview.
T-72
Use a route long enough to reveal acceleration, turning space, and braking without mixing in combat damage. The preview describes the T-72 as slower than the Leopard, cheaper, and more fuel-efficient; it does not establish numerical speed, cost, fuel consumption, armor, or gun performance. Keep those broad role descriptions separate from your own controlled observations.

Flakpanzer Gepard
First verify movement and seat controls. Then check whether the practice environment provides an air target or another supported target. If it does not, record that the anti-air role could not be exercised in that session rather than substituting a ground-target result.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use a test matrix instead of a ranking
The announced roles suggest what to examine, but they do not predict winners. This matrix keeps the test question tied to the item’s intended function.
| Item | Primary test question | Keep constant | Do not claim without evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| TCX Spear | How does the default assault-rifle setup behave in controlled bursts and single shots? | Distance, target, stance, ammunition, and burst length | Damage ranking, recoil value, or armor performance |
| M14 | How consistent are repeated aimed shots under the same setup? | Distance, optic, target, and firing cadence | One-shot kill thresholds or long-range superiority |
| PP-19 Bizon | What impact pattern and reload sequence appear in a close-range run? | Distance, burst length, magazine state, and target | Player-versus-player effectiveness |
| Evo-3 Ultra | How does a sustained string affect the sight picture and reload cycle? | String length, ammunition, stance, and attachment setup | Best LMG claim or measured suppression effect |
| Wolf-110 | How does the light transport handle the chosen route? | Route, direction, surface, and control settings | Top speed or durability figure |
| Wolf-110 (Assault) | Can the mounted weapon be operated as intended in the available session? | Seat, route, target, and firing position | Turret arc or damage value not displayed by the game |
| T-72 | How does the tank complete a repeatable movement task? | Route, surface, fuel state, and controls | Armor, fuel economy, or cost beyond the official description |
| Flakpanzer Gepard | Does the session provide a supported air-target task? | Target type, range, ammunition, and firing position | Anti-air effectiveness when no air target is available |
Handling missing items and missing modes
No practice or training option appears
Record the exact build and menu labels, then check current official notes and any mode-rotation or server-status notice. Do not present the absence as proof that the feature was removed, and do not invent a console command or shortcut.
A Season 2 item is locked or absent
Capture the lock text and check whether the released build identifies an unlock, progression, ownership, server, or mode restriction. Until the game states the reason, report only that the item was unavailable in that session.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed

The range has no target or vehicle reset
Describe the limitation and adapt the test to what can be repeated. A one-off observation is not a controlled benchmark. If leaving and re-entering is the only reset, include that fact in every result.
Best Value
Controls do not match older instructions
Use the live control-settings screen and the current platform layout. The older a guide is, the less safely you can assume its labels, bindings, or spawn locations still apply.
Why the beta firing-range guide needs caution
The detailed range checklist located for WARDOGS is third-party suggested advice, not a developer training routine. It explicitly says its directions describe August beta footage. It can help you think of tasks to try, but it cannot verify Season 2’s menu path, item roster, controls, unlocks, or reset behavior.
A player question asking what can be done in the practice or training area mentions a firing range and a place to test-drive vehicles. That wording reflects a likely player need, not confirmation that the released Season 2 build exposes those functions.
Keep results valid after balance updates
The official preview says combat balancing is part of Season 2 and that full balance notes were still forthcoming when it was published. Label every result with its build and date. If a patch changes an attachment, weapon behavior, vehicle control, or practice setup, start a new baseline instead of silently merging the observations.
Separate three kinds of statements in your notes: what the developer explicitly describes, what the game displays in the tested build, and what you personally observe during a controlled run. Only the second and third categories can answer whether an item was usable in your session; neither should be generalized to every platform or future patch without a matching check.
A compact record you can reuse

Completing this record for each weapon and vehicle makes a later comparison auditable without pretending that missing values are known.
What you can responsibly conclude
Season 2’s announced roster is clear: four weapons—TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon, and Evo-3 Ultra—and four vehicles—the two Wolf-110 variants, T-72, and Flakpanzer Gepard. The official preview does not, by itself, establish a practice-mode feature or access to those items there. Verify the live mode first, then test one weapon or vehicle task at a time under a recorded build and configuration.
