Use Playwright to open the site’s Hindi page and save a screenshot with page.screenshot(). Replace the example URL below with the portal’s published Hindi URL, or use its own language control; the right route and controls depend on the specific site.
Capture the page with Playwright
In a Node.js project with Playwright and its browser installed, this script saves the full scrollable page as a PNG:

Set fullPage: true when the content below the fold matters. This captures the full scrollable page rather than only the current viewport.

Check that the Hindi page rendered as expected
A successful screenshot call only confirms that an image was saved; it does not establish that you opened the Hindi version or that its text rendered correctly. Inspect the output for the expected page, Hindi glyphs, layout, and content. If the result is wrong, check the actual URL, redirects, and the portal’s language control. There is no universal Hindi URL parameter or language selector that applies to every government site.
Government portals may also use consent notices, login flows, bot checks, or delayed page content. The cited Playwright documentation explains navigation and capture, but it does not establish how a particular portal behaves. Diagnose the page you are capturing instead of assuming a fixed selector, wait time, font package, or permission rule.

Troubleshoot common capture problems
- The image shows the wrong language: Navigate to the portal’s published Hindi page or select Hindi using that site’s language control, then capture again.
- Hindi characters look missing or incorrect: Verify the saved image and the page in the browser environment. The available documentation does not identify a universal font fix; investigate the particular portal and runtime before changing fonts.
- Content is missing below the fold: Add
fullPage: truefor a full-page capture, or use a locator screenshot if only a particular element is needed. - The capture is blank or incomplete: Check whether navigation redirected, the page requires a login or consent action, or content appears after initial loading. The exact remedy depends on the site; the sources do not establish a universal wait condition.
