Sign in to the site in Firefox, open the page you need, then use Firefox’s built-in Take Screenshot tool and choose Save full page. Because the capture is started from the page already open in your browser, it uses your current signed-in view; Mozilla’s documentation does not guarantee that every protected or dynamic page will capture correctly.
Capture the full page in Firefox
- Sign in to the website in Firefox and navigate to the page and state you want to preserve.
- Right-click an empty area of the page and select Take Screenshot. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+S on macOS.
- Choose Save full page. Choose Save visible only if you want the part currently on screen.
- Select Download to save a PNG in Firefox’s default download folder, or choose Copy to put the screenshot on your clipboard. Mozilla Support explains Firefox’s screenshot controls.
- Open the saved image and check that the sections you need appear. If content is missing, return to the page, load the relevant section or interaction state, and take another screenshot.
This method is for capturing a page you can already view through your own authorized account. It does not bypass a login, access control, or a site’s restrictions.

Use Developer Tools for more control
Firefox Developer Tools can capture the entire current page or an individual element. To use the toolbar button, open Developer Tools settings and, under Available Toolbox Buttons, enable Take a screenshot of the entire page. Click the new button to capture; Mozilla says the screenshot is saved to Downloads. See Firefox Developer Tools: Taking screenshots.

A delay may help when you need a menu or hover state to appear. If an option is rejected, check the syntax supported by your installed Firefox version. Check dynamic or protected content
Full-page capture extends beyond the visible viewport, but a screenshot cannot include content that has not appeared in the page’s rendered state. Pages may load sections as you scroll, reveal content after a click, or display account-specific information. Load or reveal the portions you need before capturing, then inspect the result. If the page changes while the capture is being made, retry after it has settled.
Mozilla documents screenshots of the current page, not a guarantee for every site’s login flow, protected content, or dynamic rendering. Keep the capture in your own authorized browser session rather than sharing session credentials with a third party.
