Unlike a normal screenshot, it captures content beyond the visible viewport. The procedure is the same in India; the available documentation does not specify a minimum RAM requirement or guarantee performance on a low-memory laptop.
Capture the whole page in Chrome
- Open the web app and navigate to the view you want to save. Wait for visible content to settle.
- Open Chrome DevTools. On Windows, common ways to open it include pressing F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I; these shortcuts are not specified in the cited Chrome procedure and may vary with your setup.
- In DevTools, turn on the device toolbar if it is not already visible.
- Open the device toolbar’s More options menu and select Capture a full size screenshot. Chrome documents this command as capturing the whole page, including content outside the viewport (Chrome Device Mode documentation).
- Open the saved image and check that the top, bottom, and important app content are present.
A regular viewport capture shows only what is currently on screen. The full-size command is intended to include the page beyond that visible area.

What to expect on a low-RAM laptop
The documented feature does not come with a published minimum RAM requirement, memory-use figure, or guarantee about capture time. A particularly long, image-heavy, animated, or complex app may take longer or fail to produce the result you expect; no specific performance outcome for low-RAM laptops is established. There is no separate India-specific procedure in the cited documentation.
Web apps can render or load content differently from a simple page. If the app reveals content only as you scroll, scroll through the relevant areas first to give that content a chance to load. This is a practical precaution, not a guarantee that every app’s dynamically loaded or virtualized content will appear in one capture.

If you use Microsoft Edge
Microsoft describes Edge’s Screenshot feature as supporting both full-page and selected-area captures, along with markup, copying, and saving. See Microsoft Edge Screenshot. The cited feature page does not establish a precise current shortcut or complete menu sequence, so use the feature’s current in-browser controls rather than relying on an unverified shortcut.
Fix common capture problems
- Only the visible screen was captured: In Chrome, confirm that you selected Capture a full size screenshot, not a regular viewport capture.
- Content near the bottom is missing: Scroll through the app before capturing if it loads content on demand, then try again. Apps with nested scrolling areas or virtualized feeds may behave differently; the available documentation does not establish how each such app will be captured.
- The capture is too large or awkward to share: Consider whether a PDF would better suit your purpose. The sources cited here do not establish a browser-specific PDF procedure.
- You plan to share the image: Check it for account names, personal details, internal data, or tokens before sending it.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. A GET request can return a screenshot or PDF; its controls include full-page capture with lazy images loaded. Cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot, and each step can be disabled. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed; response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf for AI agents using Claude, Cursor, or another MCP client. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. See ScreenshotNeo and the API documentation.

A Chrome Web Store listing advertises a full-page capture extension with PNG/JPEG and PDF export: FullPage Capture – Full Page Screenshot. The listing alone is not an endorsement or a privacy audit, and an extension is not necessary by default when built-in browser capture does the job.
