Use your phone’s built-in scrolling screenshot feature: Safari on iPhone offers Full Page, while Android 12 and later may offer Capture more. Before sharing, inspect the whole image, redact anything support does not need, and never show your UPI PIN. A screenshot records what appeared on screen; by itself, it does not prove that a payment succeeded.
Take a full-page screenshot on iPhone
Apple documents full-page screenshots for webpages opened in Safari. A full-page capture includes content beyond the screen’s visible area.

- Open the UPI payment webpage in Safari and scroll to the part you need to capture.
- Take a screenshot. On an iPhone with Face ID, press and release the Side button and Volume Up together. On an iPhone with a Home button, press and release the Side button and Home together.
- Tap the screenshot preview before it disappears.
- Choose Full Page, inspect the long capture, and crop it if needed.
- Save the capture, then review it again before sending it through the support channel.
If the page is open inside an app’s built-in browser rather than Safari, the Full Page option may not be available. If so, try opening the webpage in Safari, or capture the relevant visible sections separately.

Google documents scrolling screenshots on Android 12 and later for most screens that allow scrolling. The option may not appear on every phone or screen.

- Open the payment webpage in your browser and press Power and Volume Down together to take a screenshot.
- Tap Capture more when it appears.
- Adjust the crop guidelines to include the page content support needs, then save the screenshot.
- Review the saved capture for legibility and private information before sharing it.
If Capture more is missing, the screen may not support scrolling capture, or your handset may use different controls. Check your phone manufacturer’s support guidance; Google recommends doing so when the standard steps do not work.

Protect payment details before sending
Look over the entire capture, including the top and bottom of the page. Remove or cover details that are not needed for the support request, and check that any redactions actually hide the information in the saved image.

- Never include your UPI PIN. NPCI says: “Please do not share your UPI-PIN with anyone. BHIM does not store or read your UPI-PIN details and your bank’s customer support will never ask for it.” A person claiming to be bank support should not ask you to disclose it.
- Share the screenshot only through the bank, payment service, or merchant’s official support channel.
- Provide only the details that channel requests. The exact identifiers needed depend on the support issue; do not assume a screenshot alone establishes payment status.
