In Safari, sign in to the web app, take a screenshot, then tap its preview and choose Full Page. You can save the capture as an image in Photos or as a PDF in Files. This is Apple’s documented workflow for a Safari webpage; it does not guarantee that every signed-in app or dynamically loaded page will capture completely.
Take the screenshot in Safari
-
Open the web app’s webpage in Safari and sign in using your normal credentials. The page must already be accessible to you; this process does not bypass a login or other access control.

What to expect from a signed-in web app
Password protection is not a special screenshot mode: sign in first, then capture the page Safari displays. Apple’s guidance covers a webpage in Safari, but does not promise that every authenticated web app, embedded browser view, infinite-scroll page, or page that loads content after extra interaction will be fully captured. Check the long-page preview rather than assuming it includes everything.

- This pre-owned product is not Apple certified, but has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers.
- There will be no visible cosmetic imperfections when held at an arm’s length.
- This product is eligible for a replacement or refund within 90 days of receipt if you are not satisfied.
- Product may come in generic Box.
If the page has content that appears only after scrolling, clicking, or waiting, the guide does not establish that Full Page will trigger those actions or include every resulting element. The preview is the practical way to see what made it into the capture.
If Full Page is missing or content is absent
-
No Full Page option: Apple’s cited guide does not explain why the option may be absent for a particular page. Confirm that you opened the page in Safari, take a screenshot, and inspect the available preview options.

The capture stops before the content you need: inspect the preview by dragging through it. If the page’s content depends on additional interaction or dynamic loading, the guide does not guarantee it will appear in the capture.
-
You are viewing the app inside another app: Apple’s documented example is a webpage in Safari, not every app-embedded browser. Open the web app’s page in Safari and try the documented workflow there.
Apple’s current support guidance describes the automatic screenshot display in iOS 26 and distinguishes it from the temporary thumbnail behavior in iOS 18 and earlier. The Full Page workflow is documented in its iPhone guide. See Apple’s screenshot interface guidance for that version context.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need a screenshot from a desktop-accessible URL rather than a capture made directly on your iPhone, ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request API. It is not a way to bypass a site’s sign-in: use only pages you are authorized to access, and configure any required authentication as appropriate. The service can remove cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before the shot; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are not billed. It also has an MCP server for AI agents, and includes 1,000 screenshots a month free with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
For a public or otherwise accessible page, this cURL example saves a WebP screenshot:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webpReplace the target URL with the page you need to capture. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. For this iPhone task, the native Safari method above is the direct route; ScreenshotNeo is an API for developer workflows. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month with no card.
