With a do-it-yourself setup, a computer running OBS must stay on and connected; a cloud playout service can run the encoder remotely. Before you start, make sure you have permission to livestream every song and video in the playlist—owning a file or subscription does not establish those rights.
How a playlist becomes a YouTube livestream
YouTube receives a live feed from an encoder; it does not turn a folder of video files into a continuous broadcast by itself. The encoder plays or manages your files in sequence and sends the resulting feed to YouTube. YouTube’s HLS ingestion documentation describes one supported ingest protocol, while OBS’s streaming guidance covers the local-software route. The exact way to loop a playlist depends on the playback software you choose.

A 24/7 stream also needs a continuity plan: something must keep the playlist playing, the encoder connected, and the broadcast monitored. A local encoder depends on your computer, power, and home upload connection. A cloud encoder shifts playback and transmission to provider-operated infrastructure, subject to that service’s availability and terms.
Before you broadcast Telugu songs: confirm the rights
Do not assume that an old song is free to stream, or that buying or downloading a video gives you broadcast permission. Confirm that your rights or license cover livestreaming, the territories where viewers may watch, and any recording or archive you intend to keep. The rights status of a particular Telugu song cannot be inferred from its age or from having a copy of it.

YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can lead to a placeholder image, interruption, or termination. YouTube also warns: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the content.” If you have permission to use music that is in Content ID, ask the rights holder whether they can add your channel to their allowlist. These are YouTube Help’s platform guidelines, not a decision about your individual license.
If you choose to archive the stream, check that your permissions cover the archived video too. YouTube says archived livestreams may receive Content ID claims after the broadcast ends. Neither a license nor allowlisting guarantees that a stream will never be interrupted.

Prepare your YouTube channel and playlist
1. Confirm live-stream access and create a broadcast
In YouTube Studio, use the current live-stream setup to create or schedule a broadcast and retrieve the encoder connection details, including the stream key. YouTube’s interface can change, so follow the labels shown in your current Studio account rather than relying on an old menu path. Keep the stream key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your broadcast.

- Use only video files you are authorized to broadcast. Do not use an unlicensed commercial Telugu-songs playlist as a test.
- Check that the playback software supports the file formats and playlist or looping behavior you need. Looping controls vary by encoder and media-playback tool; the official pages cited here do not prescribe a universal playlist-loop setting.
- Test the complete sequence with material you have permission to use, including transitions between files and what happens when the final item ends.
- Decide whether you will keep an archive, and confirm your rights cover that use before enabling it.
Run the stream yourself with OBS
OBS Studio is a free, open-source option for a local encoder. In this setup, OBS runs on your computer, and separate playback or playlist handling must provide the song videos to the broadcast. Check the current OBS streaming guidance for configuration and troubleshooting; there is no single playlist-loop setting established here for every OBS workflow.

- Install and open OBS Studio. Run the Auto-Configuration Wizard if you want OBS to help choose basic settings for your computer and connection. Review its results rather than treating them as a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
- Connect OBS to your YouTube broadcast. Use the current YouTube Studio encoder setup and enter the stream key in OBS’s streaming configuration. Confirm the selected service and destination match the broadcast you created. Do not share or publish the key.
- Add the video playback source. Configure a media source or another compatible playback method for your files. Set up the playlist and repeat behavior in the software that actually controls playback; verify that the next video starts and that the last video returns to the beginning.
- Check the outgoing picture and sound. Preview the feed in OBS and confirm video, audio levels, aspect ratio, and transitions. The feed is a live broadcast of file playback, not a camera stream.
- Start the broadcast and watch its health. Check OBS’s dropped-frame counter and connection indicator while the stream is running. OBS identifies an increasing dropped-frame count and a yellow or red connection square as signs that the connection is unstable or cannot sustain the selected bitrate. Use OBS’s streaming guidance to diagnose the cause; no particular bitrate, computer, or router is established as a guarantee for 24/7 service.
- Maintain the setup. Keep the computer powered, prevent sleep or shutdown, maintain a stable upload connection, and have a way to notice failures, restore the feed, update the playlist, and respond to rights claims. A local stream stops being dependable if any required part of that chain becomes unavailable.

A cloud service can remove your home computer and connection from the broadcast path, but it does not remove the need to clear music rights, configure the YouTube destination, or deal with platform claims. Any provider statement about monitoring or reconnecting is that provider’s claim, not an independently verified reliability measure.

Troubleshoot common interruptions
OBS shows dropped frames or a yellow/red connection indicator
OBS associates rising dropped frames and a yellow or red connection square with an unstable connection or one that cannot sustain the selected bitrate. Check the connection and OBS streaming guidance, then adjust settings using the available OBS tools. Avoid assuming that a single speed test or setting will guarantee a continuous broadcast.

YouTube replaces the video or interrupts the stream
A Content ID match may trigger a placeholder, interruption, or termination. Review the rights for the specific material and contact the rights holder; if it is licensed, ask whether your channel can be allowlisted. Do not simply restart with the same disputed content and assume the issue is resolved.
The playlist stops at the last file
Check which application controls playlist playback and confirm its repeat or loop option applies to the full playlist, not just the current file. Test the end-of-list transition before relying on it for a long broadcast.
The stream stops when you leave
With a local setup, confirm the computer remains powered and awake, OBS and playback are still running, and the home connection is available. If you do not want those home dependencies, use a cloud playout service and verify its current features and terms.

OBS itself is free for any use, but a local 24/7 setup still relies on your computer, electricity, and upload connection. Cloud services charge according to their own current plans and limits; compare the actual plan, storage, support, recovery behavior, and service terms before choosing. The material here does not establish a universal bandwidth threshold, guaranteed uptime, archive duration, or monetization eligibility. For large media libraries, an external hard drive can provide local storage, but it does not grant music rights or prevent Content ID interruptions.
