You can broadcast recorded property tours as a YouTube Live feed by sending the prepared video through an encoder connected to your channel’s stream URL and stream key. YouTube provides an encoder workflow, not a dedicated prerecorded-video looping button or a guarantee that one stream will run uninterrupted 24/7. For a continuous schedule, plan how you will loop material, monitor the feed, and handle stream boundaries and archives.
1. Prepare and clear the property-tour recordings
Assemble the finished tour or playlist before configuring the stream. Check the Hindi narration and captions, confirm property names and details are legible, and arrange multiple tours in the intended order. If you plan to add live commentary, treat that as a separate live audio source; a finished recording does not require a camera or microphone.

- Confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to broadcast the footage, music, voice, images, and property information. YouTube’s technical streaming instructions do not determine whether a particular property or recording is cleared for broadcast.
- Review privacy and real-estate advertising requirements that apply to the property and the places where you operate. Those obligations depend on the content and jurisdiction.
- Use a representative sample of the final material for testing, including ordinary camera movement and the loudest or quietest parts of the audio.
2. Make sure the channel is eligible to go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned broadcast. Check the channel’s status in YouTube Studio and follow the account-specific prompts. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

If a live-streaming restriction is active, YouTube says you cannot evade it by switching to another channel while the restriction remains in force. Review YouTube’s guidance on avoiding live-stream restrictions before scheduling a replacement broadcast.

3. Create the YouTube stream and connect an encoder
YouTube’s encoder workflow works with software running on a computer or a standalone hardware encoder. You do not need a particular brand of encoder based on YouTube’s setup instructions; choose one that can loop the prepared files and handle your chosen resolution and codec.
- Open YouTube Studio and enter Live Control Room. Create or schedule a live stream and set its title, audience details, and other stream information for the Hindi property-tour feed.
- In the stream’s encoder settings, copy the YouTube stream URL and stream key. The URL tells the encoder where to send video; the key identifies the stream YouTube should accept. Treat the key like a credential: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control the broadcast. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions and live stream settings guidance.
- In the encoder, choose the prerecorded file or playlist and enable looping if the encoder supports it. Enter the stream URL and key exactly as shown in Live Control Room.
- Start the encoder and wait for the incoming feed to appear in YouTube’s preview. Inspect both picture and sound. If your workflow requires a separate action to publish, start the stream from Live Control Room only after checking the preview.
4. Set the video, audio, and network settings
Use RTMPS and a supported encoding setup
YouTube recommends RTMPS, the TLS-encrypted variant of RTMP: “We recommend streaming to YouTube Live with RTMPS, a secure extension to the popular RTMP streaming video protocol.” Configure the encoder for RTMPS when it is available. YouTube’s general settings list H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and AV1 video; AAC or MP3 audio; constant bitrate; and frame rates up to 60 fps. For property footage, choose a resolution and frame rate that the source files and upload connection can sustain. The two-second keyframe interval is recommended; do not exceed four seconds. See YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution guidance and its RTMPS instructions.

Choose bitrate for the source and upload connection
For H.264 at 1080p30, YouTube’s published settings give 5 Mbps as the minimum and 14 Mbps as the recommended bitrate. These are YouTube ingest recommendations, not a promise about how the stream will look on every viewer’s device or network. YouTube advises that upload capacity exceed the total stream bitrate and recommends reserving about 20% headroom. Use measured upload speed—not download speed—and account for other devices sharing the connection. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
If the available upload is inconsistent, reduce the encoder’s bitrate or resolution rather than running at the edge of the connection. Keep the chosen bitrate constant, as YouTube recommends, and test the actual configuration before relying on it for a long broadcast.

5. Test the Hindi feed before publishing
- Send a representative segment through the encoder and check Live Control Room’s preview for framing, motion, and synchronization.
- Listen for clear Hindi narration, suitable background-music levels, and any clipping, silence, or unexpected audio transitions.
- Check stream health while the test runs. YouTube’s guidance is to “Continuously monitor streams for audio and video quality.”
- Open the viewer-facing watch page on a phone or other device your audience is likely to use. Check that the title, Hindi-language presentation, and playback are appropriate.
- If you will record a local archive as well, verify that the file exists and continues to grow during the test.
Do not treat a successful preview as proof that a 24/7 schedule will be interruption-free. A loop, encoder, computer, network, or YouTube connection can still fail; monitoring and a restart plan remain important.
6. Plan stream boundaries and archives
YouTube’s encoder guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. It does not promise an automatic archive for a stream longer than 12 hours, or uninterrupted operation for a continuous 24/7 schedule. If you need a dependable record of the tour, keep a separate local master or recording and verify the files rather than relying on a long live stream to become an archive. See YouTube’s encoder guide and streaming tips.

Build planned boundaries into the operating schedule: decide who will check the stream, how the next session will be started, and how recordings will be checked and stored. Compare encoders on looping reliability, RTMPS support, restart and recovery behavior, resolution and codec capacity, local recording, monitoring or alerts, cost, and support. YouTube’s cited setup pages explain the workflow but do not rank specific encoder products.
Common problems and fixes
No preview appears in Live Control Room
Confirm the encoder is sending to the correct YouTube stream URL and that the matching stream key is entered without an old value or transcription error. Check the encoder’s connection state, then re-enter the current URL and key from the stream settings if needed.

The feed buffers or stream health degrades
Check upload speed and competing traffic on the shared network. Leave the recommended 20% upload headroom above the total stream bitrate; if the connection cannot sustain the setting, lower bitrate or resolution and test again.
The picture looks poor despite a high bitrate
Confirm that the source file itself has the detail you expect, then check that the encoder’s resolution and frame rate match a practical output for the source and connection. YouTube’s 1080p30 H.264 figures are ingest recommendations, not a viewer-side quality guarantee.
Hindi narration is missing or hard to hear
Check the encoder’s selected audio input and the file’s audio track, then listen to the Live Control Room preview. Test levels with both narration and music present so one does not mask the other.
