To keep recorded gospel choir videos playing continuously on YouTube from Tamil Nadu, create a YouTube Live stream and send it an encoder feed containing recordings you have permission to use. First confirm that the channel can livestream; then clear rights for the music, performance, visuals, and other material in each recording. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and can interrupt or terminate a stream. No Tamil Nadu-specific exception or blanket advance approval for continuous prerecorded streams is established in the available official guidance.
What you need before starting
- A verified YouTube channel with live streaming access. YouTube says the channel must have no livestream restrictions in the previous 90 days; it also says streamers must be at least 16. Check your account and Live Control Room status before preparing a launch. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance describes eligibility and encoder streaming.
- Recordings you are entitled to stream, including permission for all relevant music, performances, backing tracks, visuals, slides, and any other third-party content.
- An encoder route: either a computer running an encoder or a cloud playout service that sends prerecorded video to YouTube. YouTube documents encoder-based streaming, but a service’s specific looping and recovery behavior must be checked with that provider.
Set up and launch the livestream
- Check channel eligibility. Sign in to the channel and verify its status and livestream access. Restrictions on the account can block a broadcast regardless of the equipment or service used.
- Clear the recordings. Identify who controls rights to every element, and obtain the permissions needed for a public livestream before using the material. Where licensed material is controlled through Content ID, ask the rights owner whether the channel must be allowlisted.
- Create or schedule the stream. Open YouTube Live Control Room, create or schedule a live stream, and select the encoder workflow. Follow the current instructions shown there for connecting the encoder and sending the feed; YouTube’s official guide documents encoder streaming.
- Configure playback. Load the intended recordings into the encoder or playout service. If the stream is meant to run continuously, confirm that the chosen setup can repeat the playlist and determine how it behaves after a disconnect or restart. Do not assume those capabilities or uninterrupted uptime without checking the particular service.
- Test before going public. Use a private or otherwise suitable pre-launch check. Confirm that YouTube receives both usable video and audio, and retain the source files and encoder settings in case you need to diagnose an interruption.
- Monitor the broadcast. Watch YouTube Studio for stream status, copyright notices, or livestream restrictions. If a rights owner has licensed the material, confirm whether Content ID allowlisting is needed for the channel.

Copyright risks for recorded choir videos
A choir recording can contain rights-controlled material beyond the video itself: compositions, arrangements, backing tracks, performance, and visual elements may involve different rights holders. Obtain the necessary permissions for the intended livestream rather than assuming that owning a recording or having permission to perform a song automatically covers every use.

YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If it identifies third-party content, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator to stop streaming the material; if the material remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also terminate a stream. YouTube further advises that a rights owner may need to add a channel to its Content ID allowlist even when the creator has a license. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and coordinate with the relevant rights owners in advance.

What is specific to Tamil Nadu?
The workflow described here is YouTube-wide. The official material cited does not establish a Tamil Nadu-specific livestream exemption, technical requirement, or advance approval for continuously playing prerecorded choir videos.
