To stream pre-recorded Hindi news bulletins continuously on YouTube, create a YouTube Live event in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder using the stream URL and key, and configure that encoder to play your bulletin feed. YouTube documents the live-stream connection and monitoring workflow, but does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 looping; the loop and recovery behavior depend on your encoder or playout setup.
Before you start: channel, rights and feed
- Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- Prepare the bulletin files or feed you intend to play, and choose encoder software or hardware that can play them in a loop. YouTube’s setup instructions do not specify how to build a playlist or configure a loop; those steps depend on the encoder you choose.
- Confirm that you have the rights needed for every part of the broadcast, including the video, footage, music, graphics and any third-party clips. Rights must cover live transmission and any archive. Local licensing, registration, notification or approval requirements may also apply.
- Plan for a stable upload connection, someone or something to monitor the stream, and a local recording if you need a dependable replay.
Create the YouTube Live stream
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- On the Stream tab, create a stream to begin promptly. To prepare a future broadcast, open Manage and schedule a stream. A scheduled event provides a shareable upcoming-stream page and allows viewers to opt into reminders.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube. Enter them in your chosen encoder. Treat the key as a password: anyone with access to it may be able to send video to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots or shared setup notes.
- In the encoder, select the prepared bulletin feed and configure its playlist, looping, restart and failover behavior. The exact controls are encoder-specific; check the encoder’s own instructions and test the complete sequence before going live.
Configure and test the encoder
Software or hardware
YouTube supports software encoders; a hardware encoder is optional, not a prerequisite. YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware for higher-production setups. Choose based on compatibility with your media and playlist, the reliability your newsroom needs, operator familiarity and budget. No particular model or software is required by the YouTube workflow described here.

Check the outgoing signal
Use the encoder’s supported settings for your source material and connection, then verify that the output is stable before the event. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend upload bandwidth with 20 percent headroom above the stream’s bitrate. This is a recommended margin, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Test with the actual bulletin files and inspect both picture and sound; a still image, silent section or wrong playlist order can otherwise go unnoticed until viewers report it.

- Set up the encoder well before the scheduled start, then start sending the feed early enough for YouTube to receive it.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and wait for the preview. Confirm that the correct event is receiving the expected picture and audio before starting or confirming the broadcast.
- Check the public watch page from the channel and on a mobile device. Verify that viewers can open the event and that the stream is showing the intended bulletin.
- Keep monitoring audio, video, encoder status and the connection throughout the broadcast. Have an operator who can respond to a failed feed or a dropped connection; do not assume a long-running setup will recover unless you have tested its restart and failover behavior.
- If you reuse a stream configuration, recheck its settings. YouTube offers optional auto-start and auto-stop settings for compatible encoder workflows, and some settings may carry over between uses.
Choose between one long stream and scheduled sessions
A single long broadcast can keep one event available to viewers, while shorter scheduled sessions can make it easier to manage handoffs, checks and local recordings. YouTube does not prescribe an ideal session length for a continuous bulletin channel. Its archive guidance says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. That is an archive limitation, not a stated maximum broadcast duration.

If replay matters, record the program locally even when YouTube is also expected to archive it. For sessions that approach or exceed 12 hours, decide in advance how the team will preserve recordings and restart or schedule the next session without losing the feed.
Understand YouTube limits and monetization risk
Simultaneous streams
YouTube’s live-stream help lists a limit of up to 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. These are simultaneous-stream limits, not a promised session duration or a 24/7 availability guarantee.

Permission to use a clip is not automatically permission to stream it live or keep it in an archive. Confirm the intended uses and territories for all material, and meet any applicable local legal or regulatory duties before broadcasting.

YouTube applies its monetization policies to live streams and expects monetized material to be original and authentic rather than mass-produced, generic, repetitive or manipulative. A channel that repeatedly plays unchanged bulletins may therefore face monetization risk. Copyright permission alone does not establish monetization eligibility, and no outcome for a particular channel can be guaranteed.
