Check the broadcaster for the specific game on MLB’s official 2026 postseason schedule, then use that broadcaster’s authorized viewing option in the country where you are watching. In the United States, MLB.TV streams select FOX, FS1 and TBS postseason games only for eligible subscribers who authenticate a participating pay TV provider; it does not stream Wild Card games carried by NBC or Peacock live. Outside the United States, MLB says live postseason games are available through MLB.TV except in Canada, where Sportsnet and TVA Sports are the listed rightsholders.
First, find the broadcaster for the game
There is no single streaming route for every playoff game. The 2026 postseason schedule assigns games to NBC, Peacock, TBS, FOX and FS1, and the assignments can change as the postseason progresses. Find the game in MLB’s schedule and check its listed broadcaster before choosing an app or service. For the current territory-specific options, consult MLB’s international broadcaster list.

- Open MLB’s official postseason schedule and locate the game.
- Note the broadcaster listed for that game.
- Choose the broadcaster’s authorized viewing option for the country you are physically in. If you are in the United States and the game is on FOX, FS1 or TBS, check the MLB.TV authentication rules below.
Watching in the United States
FOX, FS1 and TBS games
MLB.TV’s U.S. postseason live video access is limited to select FOX, FS1 and TBS games. You need an eligible MLB.TV subscription and credentials for a participating pay TV provider, which you use to authenticate access. Check MLB’s postseason viewing instructions to confirm provider participation and the current access steps. A subscription alone does not provide a standalone live pass to every U.S. playoff game.
NBC and Peacock Wild Card games
MLB.TV does not provide live viewing for Wild Card games carried by NBC or Peacock. Use the authorized access route offered by the broadcaster listed for your game. Do not assume MLB.TV authentication for a FOX, FS1 or TBS game will unlock a Peacock game.

Watching outside the United States
Countries other than Canada
MLB says postseason games are available live through its international MLB.TV offering outside the United States, with Canada excluded. Confirm the package and any territory restrictions for the country where you will watch on MLB’s international postseason package page. Local rights and schedules can vary, so check MLB’s country-by-country broadcaster list as well.
Canada
MLB’s international postseason live access excludes Canada. MLB lists Sportsnet and TVA Sports as Canadian rightsholders; check their current schedules and authorized streaming options for the game you want to watch.

What changes when you travel
Streaming access depends on both the game’s rights holder and the territory where you are viewing. Crossing a border can mean that the service that worked at home is no longer the applicable route. U.S. pay TV authentication does not make every postseason game available through MLB.TV, and the international package has a Canada exception. Use the destination country’s listed broadcaster or the applicable MLB.TV option rather than relying on your home-market setup.

If live video is unavailable
MLB says live audio and full-game archives for the relevant MLB.TV postseason offering become available 90 minutes after the game ends. These are delayed alternatives, not a way to watch the game live. Check the MLB postseason viewing guidance for the offering that applies to your location.
