Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesYou can stream a Marathi-song playlist continuously to YouTube with FFmpeg, provided your files work with FFmpeg’s concat demuxer, your internet connection can sustain the upload, and you have the rights to broadcast every recording and composition. The setup has three parts: a compatible playlist, a stable connection from FFmpeg to YouTube Live, and permission to stream the music. FFmpeg can repeat the playlist, but neither FFmpeg nor YouTube promises an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
Before you start: clear the music rights
Do not assume a song is safe to livestream because it is available online, you bought a copy, or you give the artist credit. YouTube Help says: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match may replace the stream picture with a placeholder, trigger a warning, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it.

Confirm that you have permission for both the sound recordings and the underlying compositions, for the territories where you intend to broadcast. If you have a license for third-party material, YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist; a license alone may not stop a live interruption. Check the terms with the relevant rights holders before going live.

Prepare compatible files and a playlist
Check whether the files can be concatenated
FFmpeg’s concat demuxer joins files in sequence, but it is not a general-purpose format converter. The FFmpeg Project’s concat demuxer documentation says, “All files must have the same streams (same codecs, same time base, etc.).” Check that the tracks have matching stream layouts, codecs, and time bases; files that look similar in a media player can still differ in ways that prevent clean concatenation. Test the actual files and listen for gaps, abrupt cuts, or other transition problems.
#1 Best Overall

- 【Support Mic-in for Commentary】Rybozen capture card has microphone input and you can use it to add external commentary when playing a game. Please note: it only accepts 3.5mm TRS standard microphone headset.
Use a plain-text file named playlist.ffconcat. The first line must be the exact signature shown here, followed by one file directive for each track:
ffconcat version 1.0
file 'track-01.mp3'
file 'track-02.mp3'
file 'track-03.mp3'
Save the list beside the tracks if you use relative paths. The concat demuxer’s safe setting defaults to 1, which rejects unsafe paths. Keep that default where possible. Relaxing it with -safe 0 may allow paths the default rejects, but do so only when you understand and trust the list and every file it references. Paths with quotes or unusual characters also need correct escaping; test the list before a live broadcast.

When using an adapter, if the device is recognized as USB 2.0, try using the other side with the USB-C port. Simply flip the capture card and reconnect it to be recognized as USB 3.0
Decide what viewers will see
An audio playlist does not create a video track. To send a video stream with audio-only songs, prepare a visual track, such as a still image that you have the right to use. The example below loops an image while the playlist supplies the audio. If your playlist entries are already compatible video files, you can instead send their video and audio streams; make sure every entry has compatible streams before relying on concat demuxing.

Get the YouTube Live destination
- Open YouTube Studio and create or select a live stream in Live Control Room. YouTube Help’s guide, “Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder,” describes setting up an encoder stream there.
- Copy the server URL and stream key shown for the stream. You will use these values in FFmpeg’s output destination. Follow the fields and format shown in Studio rather than guessing an ingest address.
- Keep the stream key private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to send a broadcast to your channel. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio before streaming again.
YouTube recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingestion. Use the RTMPS server information supplied for your stream in Studio.

Configure FFmpeg and start the playlist
YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends H.264 video, AAC or MP3 audio, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval, with a maximum interval of four seconds. The example below encodes an audio playlist with a looping still image as H.264 video and AAC audio. It assumes a 30-frame-per-second output, so a GOP of 60 frames corresponds to a two-second keyframe interval. The bitrate and buffer values are deliberately variables: choose values supported by your upload connection and appropriate for your output, then test them. There is no bitrate that is right for every connection and stream.
ffmpeg -re
-stream_loop -1 -f concat -safe 1 -i playlist.ffconcat
-loop 1 -framerate 30 -i cover.png
-map 1:v:0 -map 0:a:0
-c:v libx264 -r 30 -pix_fmt yuv420p
-b:v "$VIDEO_BITRATE" -maxrate "$VIDEO_BITRATE" -bufsize "$VIDEO_BUFFER"
-g 60 -keyint_min 60
-c:a aac -b:a "$AUDIO_BITRATE"
-f flv "$YOUTUBE_OUTPUT_URL"
Replace playlist.ffconcat and cover.png with your filenames. Set VIDEO_BITRATE, VIDEO_BUFFER, and AUDIO_BITRATE in the shell environment to values you have chosen for the connection and intended output. Set YOUTUBE_OUTPUT_URL to the output destination assembled from the server URL and stream key according to the format required by the Studio encoder setup. Do not publish the key or leave it in a publicly accessible script. This is an adaptable example, not a universal command: FFmpeg builds, files, shells, and hosting environments vary.

- Run the command on the computer or server that will host FFmpeg. The
-reoption reads the playlist at approximately its native rate instead of pushing it as fast as possible;-stream_loop -1repeats the concat input. The image input supplies the video track while the audio input supplies the music. - Check FFmpeg’s output for errors and verify that the playlist is advancing. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, confirm that the incoming preview appears and review the stream health indicators before treating the broadcast as live.
- Listen to the stream from a viewer’s perspective and check the picture, audio level, transitions, and connection stability. Keep Live Control Room open so you can respond to warnings or a loss of incoming signal.
If your playlist consists of compatible video files rather than audio files, do not use the still-image mapping above unchanged: map the playlist’s video and audio streams instead, and configure the output encoders and frame rate for those files. Test a representative selection, including transitions, before leaving a long-running stream unattended.
Test reliability before aiming for 24/7
A looping input is not the same as a guaranteed always-on service. Test the full playlist, actual upload connection, FFmpeg build, and host for long enough to expose practical problems. Check that the broadcast continues after several track transitions and playlist loops, and decide how you will notice and respond if the process exits, the host loses connectivity, or YouTube stops receiving the stream. The official encoder and concat guidance establishes format and ingest rules; it does not provide a universal restart command or guarantee uninterrupted runtime on every host.
- Confirm the files are compatible and the concat list points to the intended tracks.
- Test audio levels, image display, and transitions rather than assuming a successful FFmpeg launch means the output is correct.
- Test the chosen bitrate against the real upload connection and monitor YouTube’s stream health.
- Plan how the process will be monitored and restarted in your own hosting environment; the right supervisor or recovery setup depends on that environment.
Understand YouTube’s archive limit
YouTube Help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not promise that one continuous 24-hour transmission will be retained as a single complete replay. If you need an archive of the entire broadcast, plan a separate recording or segmentation approach and verify YouTube’s current behavior for your setup.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not keep an FFmpeg computer running at home, StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos in the cloud; it does not broadcast from a camera.
